Kyuubi stared out between the cage bars. The grey solid cage had kept her trapped in the idiotic boy for just a little over thirteen years and there was no sign that she was going to get her long yearned freedom anytime soon.
Not that it totally sucked being trapped in the boy since he had this unique tendency to get into the most awkward situations that involved fighting. If there was anything that she herself liked more then anything else aside from fighting was mischief and watching others suffer.
Naruto was a unique person since he had a lovely childhood filled with anger and suffering, mixed in with mischief, disrespecting others and stewed in that lovely hatred that only grew and purified.
Then he changed and became genin, leaving a lot of his hatred behind, to her dismay. However, his hobbies changed from mischief to inflicting pain upon others. Sure he was simply doing as the situation dictated, the chuunin exams, and the chase for that young looking yet old woman and then the quest to bring back that Uchiha kid. The fighting that he got caught into was marvelous, truly enjoyable for one such as herself.
However, things had been rather calm during the last few months. What had irked her most was the fact that her container had stopped suffering and more importantly, started this stupid training journey with that perverted weakling who was so fond of summoning frogs.
It was said that there were few dangers then that at the level of a bored or scorned woman, but a bored female yokai? Her main form of entertainment came from watching Naruto suffer and having him use her energy to hurt others. With him gaining friends, his suffering had gone down, even with his teammateÆs defection.
She was bored and there was no sign of fun for another few years, until this training journey was complete. Then the damn boy would have confidence and if he gained enough strength, his suffering would lesson even more as he would be supported by his friends. It was enough to drive her mad.
Hell, he might even win the affections of that pink one. He had definitely poured in the effort to win her over. Heck, he would probably win the heart of anyone he sets his sights on, what with his determination and self belief. What girl could resist him for any extended period of time?
She knew enough about humans that would put any medic-nin to shame and she knew that the moment Naruto found a mate for life her hostÆs suffering would dip even lower. A happy Naruto did not equal a happy contained demon. The woman that he would get would most likely support him and in turn maintain the cage, securing her in.
The pain and plight of winning the heart of another girl would only feed her so much, and the outcome of his success would completely spoil any fun she had during the courtship. Though the pain of such trails were fairly tastyà
A sinister smile spread across KyuubiÆs face as realization dawned before her. There was a way to keep her container in constant sufferingà Suffering that was very pure and exquisite to taste. There were few things as yummy as feeding off the pain of one caught in love and courtship. All she had to do was use her abilities and alter her container enough to grant him his fondest wish, to be strong, noticed and liked.
It will become his greatest nightmare.
He would be liked all right, by almost all females who saw him. Since he was such an innocent boy, he would be unable to effectively stop their advances. Better yet, with his inept social skills, she didnÆt doubt that the idiot would try to make everyone happy at his own expense, creating a buffet of delicious agony for her to feed on.
Just endow the boy with primal attractions, allow his natural social ineptitude to guide him, and grant him enough power that he wouldnÆt accidentally die, and she would live the good life for a while. As a matter of fact, it might even be able to erase her anger at being sealed within the boy and replace it with giddy anticipation. The fun was about to start and she set her plan into motion.

Well this is one of the ideas that I have had kicking around for a while. Based on series like Golden Boy, DNA2 (squared), Love Hina, Negima, etc.
This would focus more on Naruto's everyday plights rather then actual combat. Or at least combat with requiring Naruto to have to fight. More like Spherical Death Match. With Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Kurenai, Anko, Hinabi, Tenten, Temari, etc. All vying for Naruto's affections while trying their damn hardest to sabotage the others.
