Okay, basically, I was uploading picxs of Baiken, and found myself thinking, "Jesus, she could be Zaraki and Rangiku's kid or something".

What if she is? Never mind the sheer terror the idea of Zaraki actually breeding would likely inspire in Soul Society, she's pretty much their fusion. Likes to drink sake and smoke to relax, and has a tendency to stab annoyances in the face or whatever other more or less vital part they show instead of wasting time on useless chattering.

Even her attitude is a tie-in, no-nonsense and to the point, with more than a touch of brutality, but she's willing to give people in her way ONE (and only one) chance to move their asses before she just chops through them.

Zaraki and Rangiku getting together? That's very far-fetched.

On the other hand, I can easily see Baiken as a future/alternate version of Yachiru. She's already had plenty of influence from Ken-chan and does sit around and drink sake with the other Shinigami senior officers.

As for achieving shikai or bankai, who knows if she would really want to borrow her zanpakuto's power? She will probably want to emulate Ken-chan to a degree and try to win battles with her own skills and strength BEFORE relying on her zanpakuto.

Hmmmm... could Fireseal and Thunderseal be next generation zanpakutos based off of legendary zanpakutos from the Arrancar war?

I never said anything about them getting together - why do people always think in terms of relationships? It doesn't really take more than a plastered Rangiku and a Zaraki who decides 'eh, why the hell not?' to get a bun in the oven, so to speak. :snigger:

The Yachiru idea might also have merit too. And Baiken doesn't really need shikai or bankai. She can take Gears on and at the very least get out of it alive (against monsters like Sol and Dizzy, mind you), while missing one eye AND one arm. If anything, Zaraki would consider emulating her and tyingn one of his arms up. :snigger:

Fredrick was a spiritually aware person who was in Japan at the time of the end of the Arrancar war, and saw the power witnessed...and took a lot of recordings/data, and started researching...

I can't remember exactly what the seals tap into, but his inspiration may have COME from the weapons. But with a bit more of a european slant on the weapons. Fireseal could be based on Ryujinjakka, etc.

Shinigami don't really get involved with the war going on in the human world, much like WWII, and all the wars that have go on. Not their problem...they just take care of Hollows.

Until Ichigo gets back from the area between the dimensions, where he's been lost for 200 years with a woman (women?). <_< Like >_> Tatsuki. So sue me, best pairing ever.

Either a future version of Yachiru, or her kid works. If Kenpachi is the father, even better, but not needed. Maybe Yachiru just pulls a Washu and stays in the loli form for amusement.

Hmm... Mayuri may want to really find out what makes a Gear tick and would really throw himself out there to get his hands on one.

Well, I never really found out much about Baiken in the Guilty Gear games, so I don't really have too much of an opinion on the idea. In addition, there just isn't much to comment on for this idea yet. All that has been developed of it so far is the thought of Baiken being the daughter of Zaraki and Rangiku. And while the thought of Rangiku waking up next to Zaraki after a night of heavy drinking is an amusing one, the fact is that without some small idea of a general plot, then there is very little to comment on.

That's what people say of Dizzy too. :lol: Especially Gold powers boss!Dizzy. Stupid Hikari no Tsubasa would level even an Espada without trouble. Can you say 'overkill'? Well, apparently Dizzy's wings can't. They only believe in 'open fire' and 'time to reload'. :sweat:

Ishida proved that with enough power, and a couple of tricks Mayuri isn't that tough. Mayuri's difficulty come from the fact that he can paralyze his opponents, and the fact that his Bankai has posoin breath. While I don't know much about Gears, I would assume that they would be immune to poison and muscle paralysis.

Personnaly, I could see Baiken being a future Yachiru. Kenpachi was ambushed by the rest of the Soul Society, since he was obviously too powerful for his own good. Yachiru tried to help him, losing an arm and an eye in the process. She then decided to quit Soul Society, and asked Kisuke for a gigai, with the same injury, since it was her soul hat was cut down, she wouldn't have been able to control the arm and eye of the gigai.
Yachiru-Baiken then decided to take Kenpachi's way of life has a mean to honor his memory.

I don't think that flies, really. Kenpachi has been in command at least 50 years, probably more like 200 by my guess...and Soul Society seems to respect captains who have earned the position, regardless of attitude (ie Kenpachi got the position by killing predecessor.)

After the Aizen debacle, who say they don't want to clean house, for exemple ? If an author like my idea, I'm sure he'll find a way.

Yamamato isn't that stupid. After Aizen he is not only dealing with the fact that he lost three captains, but two of his most trusted betrayed him for there own concepts of justice. If he tries to go after Zaraki the 8'th and 13'th will fight him. The first time he ends the 2'nd division to enforce the law they will have three divisons totally decimate the 2'nd. Plus, he has three leaderless divisons that would be destroyed, as they would be an easy target. In the end, even if he won, the Gotei 13 would become the Gotei 7.

The only way for this to work would have the 46, once they select new members, to order Zaraki dealt with. Yamamato isn't even allowed to question their logic.

The problem with that statement is that only a hight level quincy has even the possibility of escaping his shikai, and even though Ishida was able to hurt Mayuri it was a pyrric victory. Ishida was dead if it wasn't for Nemu helping him, and Mayuri was still able to survive, escape, and heal.

What I was trying to say was that I don't know if Gears would be able to escape Mayuri's poison and paralysis. Beings like Dizzy would have more than enough power to over power his bankai, and would probably be immune to his other tricks.

I don't know about other Gears, but Dizzy can't be poisoned. Or rather, she can, but her organism will flush the poison out in a matter of minutes.

Very true. Let's also not forget one important fact about Dizzy. Where she is Testament is not too far behind as well. Mayuri would have Two rediculously strong gears to deal with. then there is also May a Johnny on the May Ship as well. Mayuri would get his ass handed to him gift wrapped. But back to Baiken. Say she sees Zaraki fighting during the arrancar war and when she is wounded she bases her style off of him. She's got one eye adn arm and he has a eye-patch, since most people don't know what its for unless he tells them, and only uses one arm. What about basing Potemkin off of Sado as well?
