well, Shunshin is simply chakra-enhanced high-speed movement.
the only visible difference between somebody being FAST AS FUCK(ie: Yondy) and somebody using Shunshin, should be the leaves\sands\whatever the shunshin user should leave behind

I find this story quite interesting. You have quite a way of writing fighting scenes. They are detailed and have a good flow, which makes it fun and interesting to read them. ^_^

Fem!Gaara is win. Fem!Gaara X Naruto is more win. Yandere!Fem!Gaara X Naruto is a lot of win. And it seems you aim for quite some character development so that is even more win. :sisi: There's so few 'Naruto X a yandere' pairings :blue:

So yeah, I am really looking forward to more updates of this.

A question though:
What kind of yandere is Gaara?
1.Possessive: This type of Yandere is so in love with his/her crush that she's willing to kill her beloved to prevent other love interests from taking him away from him/her.
2.Obsessive: This type of Yandere is willing to kill off her competition so he/she can be closer to his/her loved one.

I think one of your notes hinted at the obsessive stereotype but not sure. :hmm:

The point is anything could be a "shunshin" whatever that is ... Zabuza poping in the middle of the group, Kakashi intercepting him ... Zabuza jumping from the tree after removing his sword. So basically, any "high-speed" movement in Naruto is a Shunshin ... like ... you blur the world around you ... so how do they stop moving, it's freaking crap-tastic seriously. Feh, i'm going to have to fucking tweak the shunshin crap to like ... remove those crappy discussions from my fic.
Why the fuck was "Shunshin no Shisui" I think, supposedly that guy who "mastered" the shunshin : ok good job guy you mastered the high speed movement : WTF!?
There's too fucking much contradiction in the Naruto-world with these techniques. It pisses me off, the guy create an amazing world, and there's no fucking consistency in it. It's so fucking hard to write a decent thing I don't even know why people are reading it when there's a freaking "HERE I FAIL" in the middle of it.

From what i can remember of my time in the Naruto fandom, Sunshin was a teleportation ninjutsu at the start. But then I think Kishi nerfed it to a just high speed movement jutsu.

That is if I remember correctly, but it would not be the first time he retcon a jutsu.

I'm trying to make the distinction that there's using chakra to enchance your speed:

Lee does this for his shit, along with Sasuke and everyone who is zomg-so-fast!

And then there's the whoosh-move-in-a-straight-line-at-5-times-the-speed-you-can-normally-go-at.

I have Yondaime pictured as this guy who goes "I can go fast... but I wanna move at the speed... of INSTANT!" after watching an episode of DBZ with the Instant Transmission and then locks himself up for a month, comes out and rocks the world and wins a war.

I still need to think it through with how I wanna have Gaara evolve. Though Sakura is at somepoint going to be Sabaku Kyuu'd.

So ... your speed measure is normal, shunshin ( like 5x normal but chakra is emitted so we know you are coming ) , and teleportation ( Minato ) ... I think i'm going to kinda use it too. It's simple and efficient.
Shisui by reducing the wasted chakra to zero could maybe use it without emitting => stealth shunshin would be pretty lethal in the hand of a uchiha that wasn't a dick.

PS: Are you going to have some thoughts about hiding in plain sight for Naruto ? I mean, instead of enemies pinpointing his chakra during the shunshin, couldn't you use the general idea that if Naruto flood the zone with his chakra, you can't pinpoint his exit in the zone ? It's wasteful ... but come on ... it's not like Naruto ever ran out of chakra :snigger:

**Gaara does as well but has so far failed to understand*** some of the finer dynamics of girlfriend-boyfriend relations.

***It doesn't help that through a comedy of errors much of her understanding comes from particular raunchy Icha Icha novels.

One of the best things about this is that with the presence of yandere Gaara its pretty much impossible for this to turn into another generic harem fic. I liked them a few years ago when I first got into fanfics, but they've lost a good deal of their charm.

Hmmm, Gaara kidnaps Sakura to make her teach Gaara about relationships... Of course, Sakura is thinking of Sasuke as she explains, so it's possible Gaara's views might come out a tiny bit skewed...

And, just to say that we were all kinda right about Minato and the shunshin ... in the last chapter of Naruto out like 1 hour ago maybe , <a href='http://www.mangareader.net/naruto/542' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Chap 542</a>, Minato didn't use the shunshin a single time. It seems he's able to chose what to keep with him when he flicker ( == teleport ) to a seal. The teleport while leaving my kunai behind is really awesome :snigger: .
There's a lot of info right there. The future Raikage at full speed ( shunshin or just speed + his lightning armor we don't know ) isn't quick enough to prevent Minato from teleporting with 10 meters between them. And Minato is quick enough to flicker again back to his kunai with A having pretty much not moved ... OP-jutsu much ? :blink:
And final point, Minato seems to be wind-natured by the way he nearly cut the tail with a punny kunai. So he really is the "fastest" as in teleport + quick reaction time. But we don't know really about his shunshin or his simple move speed.

PS: A useful Sakura is good too. Chap 540 proved that she can be badass. Do it and we can love it :sisi:

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that to my previous entry ... the thing is they are ninja, if people think "Wow, it's shunshin Minato", he's not going to say "No you're all wrong it's ...".
Nah, he's going to let them say it, that way, no counter measures and he stay all powerful. All good for him. So, Jonin saying it's the shunshin is all good, it just proves Minato is awesome ^_^

So, kaiseryuu, no problem with the jonins in the stadium saying their crap, that just proves that Minato was that badass by misdirecting them :snigger: .

PS: Is there a limit to how awesome the fourth was ?

Of course Gaara is only going to bind Sakura. As a rookie yandere she's going to have doubts on just how much murder is allowed. If she goes to far Naruto won't recognize her existence. because that's the center of this. Her attempt to touch Temari, and the failure to do so, was her proof is that Naruto is the only person that can validate her existence.

This has the potential to be one of the most hilarious semi-crack fics ever! The thought of yondere fem!Gaara getting into a relationship with Naruto is comedy gold. I have yet to read a bad fem!Gaara story (Though I have only ever been able to find three of them ever. A shame really, because I would love to read more.) If I could make a suggestion though, as far a relationship role-models go, I think that the best mentor for Gaara would have to be Anko. Just imagine this particular Gaara getting relationship and fashion advice from Konoha's sexiest psychopath. Oh the hilarity!
