The Scooby Gang from BtVS meets the last survivor of the original Scooby Gang:
For years now, ever since the monsters turned out to be real, Velma Dinkley has wandered the world, alone save for a talking dog (or Dog-spirit) named Scooby Doo. She survives through luck, brilliance, cunning, and sheer bloody-minded ruthlessness. While no witch, she knows a few spells, focusing on stealth, which has the beneficial side-effect of letting her avoid police attention... not that that's likely to be a problem in Sunnyhell. Her shot gun is more useful than you might think, and may not be the only one she has, so a good silencing spell is deeply appreciated.
She may or may not have already killed the monster that took her friends from her.
When she shows up, and how old she is, by then are up to the author. One idea I like is that she shows up with Faith, having helped her destroy Kakistos. Would lead to a very different Faith, and would greatly effect Buffy and friends, no?
