Deathday Revelations
Just shy of his second year, Danny learns of a custom meant to honor the day each ghost first entered the next world. Now the great Danny Phantom must face a throng of well meaning ghosts and somehow survive their gifts with his secret and sanity intact
Danny Phantom - Rated: K+ - English - Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 7,523 - Reviews: 171 - Published: 7-2-06 - Danny F. - Complete
A very enjoyable one-shot, in my opinion, with a interesting one-shot. It has serious moments, but it's mainly just a fun read. A very well written story; check it out.

Danny Phantom - Rated: T - English - Angst/Romance - Chapters: 1 - Words: 7,915 - Reviews: 82 - Published: 5-29-07 - Danny F. - Complete
An absolutely beautiful fic. A sad story, but wonderfully written. A new take on the TT/DP crossovers, and I really like how it did it.

This was recc'd in the General Fanfiction Rec thread some time ago, but I recently ran across it again and figured I'd add it here:

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3049214/1/Running_Blind' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Running Blind</a> by Dejah Thoris of Mars
Summary: Crossover with CSI. Something supernatural is killing people in Las Vegas... and it all seems to lead back to a fifteenyearold runaway named Danny Fenton.

DC animated universe
What if Cadmus hadn't broken up when they did in JLU, and what if they were still trying to take down the league, how would Project: Batman Beyond have turned out.

Sequel: <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5161442/2/Nights_of_Tomorrow' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Nights of Tomorrow</a> & <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5843571/1/Nights_of_Tomorrow_Forgotten_Years_Interlude' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Nights of Tomorrow: Interlude</a>

That series has a cold version of Terry that manages to creep me out while still keeping a bit of the original

I read most of it, but I had to stop, because Terry was 1) way to smart, 2) a jerkass, and 3) bordering on a Marty Sue.

In addition, everyone on the league except Batman was insulted a number of times, usually for reasons that were made up, and everyone that wasn't Terry was made out to be an idiot, especially the League.

I saw it more as an even more anti-social batman. Something that makes sense considering that was what he was essentially raised to be...

End of the first story gets him shot and nearly killed for being an asshole.

Adding flaws, like getting shot, is just an attempt to make him look less like a Sue.

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4205567/1/Alphabet_Soup' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Alphabet Soup</a> by calliopechild
Summary: A series of 26 drabbles of various lengths and natures on everyone's favorite terrapins, friends and enemies, all in no semblance of alphabetical order. Please forgive the cheesy title, as regrettably, no soup will be offered. (TMNT)

^_^ Alright, it seems that posting this in the comics section was a mistake on my part.

Anyways here's my recommendation

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/579764/1/Ronin_Toad' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Ronin Toad</a>

This is the first in a series called the Misfit Saga, a crossover between G.I Joe and Marvel in general but mostly X-men evolution.

Now a fair warning is that her spelling takes some rough bumps in a few places but it soon steadies out, except she can't spell 'barely' to save her life, and if you like Magneto you won't like the first few main stories but he gets better.

There are Original Characters but they're pretty well written, enough to actually keep my focus, and her stories are pretty funny.

However be prepared to archive binge, cause she has a whopping 803 stories, most of them being X-men evo oneshots and misfit stories.

Warning to anyone interested in tackling the monster called the "Misfit Saga" - while it has serious parts and some actual plot elements creeping in... it is mostly a monstrous Crack-Fest.

There are more then 27 stories, many of them are 100 chapters long, and about 80% (or more) of that is pure Crack.

That is so much inanity over such a long piece, that the zany wackiness actually stagnates. Many of those chapters end up being rehashes of the same jokes over and over. (Running gags should not drag their feet.)

Still, if you don't mind crack, like the '80s GI-Joes, and enjoyed X-Men evolution, go ahead and check out Ronin Toad and the rest of the Misfit Saga.

(For the record, the first three sotries - Ronin Toad, Parallel Lives, and the Misfit Chronicles - have a better story-to-crack ratio than the rest of the series.)

That is true, but it's still pretty amusing how much stuff she manages to fit into the insanity. I've seen stuff from incredibly early X-men comics.

And I would like to add Days of Our Mutant Lives, The Final Chapter, This Soap Opera called Life and All of the main stories to the list of more story to crack ratio.

It's mostly the little side stories that are the crack-fests and The Final Chapter is where the series starts really growing the beard.

Accurate? To a point, it is but it deviates all over the place while still staying somewhat on course.

In this universe Rogue is Quicksilver's and the Scarlet Witch's half-sister. Morph is the son of Mystique and Zartan.

Corsair is Scott's father, Scott's mother is a ship( her brain was downloaded onto a ship).

All kinds of little stuff, still fairly enjoyable.

Not actually a fic recommendation, but does anyone know any great Transformers fanfics? G1 to Galaxy Force, the era isn't all that important.

Actually, I think I may have also placed this rec in the Comic Recommendations thread, I will put a link here also.

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5382850/1/In_Love_and_War' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>In Love and War</a>. A Calvin & Hobbes and Beast Wars cross. Yes, really.

Plot summary: In Calvin's attempt to do a report on the United States Civil War, Calvin convinces Susie to take his time machine to visit that time. In the process, they accidentally go to the Beast Wars era, where they meet the Maximals and Predacons and get stranded.

My thoughts: The story has just gotten started, and the updates are few and far in between. Still, I think it is well written, and the hilarity of Calvin and Suzie's misadventures through time before the main plot kicks in is a must-read. Also, Calvin and Suzie both have Hidden Depths, which I look forward to more.

Grand Master Dashi didn't feel like disappearing after he trapped Wuya for the second time. Jack Spicer caught his eye, and he decided he was up for a little challenge... But Jack just wants to be evil! Rating and category subject to change on a whim.
Xiaolin Showdown - Rated: T - English - Humor/Friendship - Chapters: 9 - Words: 16,595 - Reviews: 63 - Updated: 6-9-07 - Published: 5-27-07 - Jack - Complete
It's weird how well Dashi and Jack get along, but it's definitely worth a read if you liked Xiaolin Showdown.

Niiiiice. There are some good Fanfictions about that show, then. Damn them for not making a fourth season.
