Well, I am sad to see Edward Norton go as Bruce Banner/ the Hulk, maybe Mark Ruffalo can pull of the Hulk like Lou Ferrigno, but I'm not confident in his ability to play Bruce Banner yet. It is a "we'll see how it goes" kind of process.

So long as Robert Downey, Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson remain on as Tony Stark/ Iron Man and Nick Fury, respectively, I think they can pull off the movies. That, and keeping Jon Favreau on as director.

Now it's a waiting game to see how the Thor movie turns out and gives us an indication as to the final product of the Avengers and Captain America films. I'm still in a 'meh' mood until I can see what Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth can do as Captain America and Thor.

<crosses fingers> Here's hoping. -_-

For Captain America, I am comforted in knowing that no matter how bad Chris Evans could possibly be, he couldn't be worse then the previous ones.

Was Edward Norton any good as the Hulk?
He was extremely good, and its terrible that he isn't going to be doing the role again. That second Hulk movie only came out because Norton pushed it, and Liv Tyler was decent in it only because Norton was there with her.

Basically, he made that movie great. Go see it.

Edward Norton was not only a good Hulk, he also made an incredibly believable Bruce Banner. It is the productions that give credit to Banner's intelligence and the diametric enactment as the mindless, primal Hulk that brought the character to life in comics and the Incredible Hulk. Banner is in the top ten smartest men of Earth in Marvel-verse 616 (the main Marvel continuity), and Norton did give the feel that Banner was not just an intelligent man, but also a capable man that could thwart the military and intelligence community for years before surfacing on their radar.
