Castlevania Harem Fic Idea

The recent Castlevania games for the DS feature a lot of attractive female demons in the halls of the castle, and some of them do cute things like hold their skirts down in a high wind while screaming "eyaaahn!" like all classic anime gals. I say: why not make a fic where we leave one lovable Castlevania guy with the castle and a host of reformed demon girls? Soma Cruz is a good choice for this kind of story, or we could use Richter Belmont, who makes a cameo in Portrait of Ruin. (although he kinda has a harem of his own) Here are the girls.

Persephone: Our cute, girly girl of the bunch, she's also a prime candidate for maid anime cliches, if you want to go that direction.

Student Witch: The clumsy, but sincere one. Let's make her a college-aged meganekko, like Taeko-chan from AYA.

Witch: The wise, yet bossy one. If we have her order around Student Witch, this will make Student Witch more sympathetic if we want to make her our "promise girl."

Valkarie: The no-nonsence fighter of the group. Good if you want a Motoko clone in your ranks.

Succubus: The brazen hussy. Every harem anime needs a brazen hussy.

Mina and Yoko are from Aria of Sorrow and its one-year-later sequel Dawn of Sorrow.

I second the recommendation of Soma. His power is the "power to rule" (hello, harem of girls who call him "Master"!), and it is canon that he never loses this power - in fact, he destroyed the evil influence of it. And it's probably not too much of a stretch to say that he kept a few of the monster souls...

Re: the monsters, Persephone in particular: She's cute, and a perfect addition. In Aria, she was a kung-fu badass who could knock you across the room easily. In Portrait of Ruin, she would molest Jonathan or flip up Charlotte's skirt. :evil:

Also, the Succubus... I have a link to her official artwork, and I can definitely say, WHOA. :drool: (I cannot, however, post the link outside the Lemon section. This should clue you in to the content of said official artwork. :snigger: )

The biggest problem is that most of these ladies are potentially lethal just to TOUCH, and with some, sex is just plain suicidal (case in point, Alura Une - sure, you'll die happy, but...).

And Soma isn't quite as invincible as Dracula to these things...

Well, that much assumes that they're hostile to the male lead. In the game, they're enemies, and any enemy in just about any video game is Entirely Composed Of Pain. (I mean, sure, touching a walking mushroom wouldn't necessarily hurt, but since it's a videogame, Goombas hurt Mario on contact.)

In a fanfic, this can be freely altered. Of course, Alura Une etc. would probably be poisonous, and plot devices would have to be installed for the survival of a Succubus encounter, but in most cases it could work.

Well, that much assumes that they're hostile to the male lead. In the game, they're enemies, and any enemy in just about any video game is Entirely Composed Of Pain. (I mean, sure, touching a walking mushroom wouldn't necessarily hurt, but since it's a videogame, Goombas hurt Mario on contact.)

I'm not talking about hostility. I'm talking about their NATURE. Hostile or not, if you try to boink a Frozen Shade, your dick will flashfreeze and FALL OFF, becaause their body temperature, IIRC; is around 50 degrees below zero on a warm day.

Simply put, some of the females are right out of question.

That includes the Salem Witch and Witch Apprentice enemies. They turn into cats when subjected to shock/losing control... if anyone of you has read the Ranma fanfic 'Nekophilia', they'll certainly know that a cat is NOT fine when it's in the middle of sex.

The idea definitely has merit, but it'll need some truly outrageous plot devices to work with a lot of the females. And in the succubi's case, the only way you COULD survive an encounter with them is if you have no soul to begin with. They don't really care about enemy or ally - to them, if you are male, you are dinner. Simple as that.

Granted, it's a FUN dinner, but dinner all the same.

Plus, Killer Dolls are made of HARD WOOD. Does anyone REALLY want to stick their tools IN THERE? :wacko: :rip1:

I see where you're going with that, GH, and I agree to an extent, but there are still plenty of options open.

One, the old "Succubi take sexual energy, not souls" angle. Granted, it's played out, and in a CV setting it's a stretch, but it exists. And like I said, plot devices would be necessary.

Two, never mind the dolls. Splinters. Yeesh.

Three, sex wouldn't be an outright impossibility for all of the monsters in the Castle, nor would it be impossible for one to survive all of those. For example, the kung-fu maids.
