Not to mention the Shadow Chronicles/OACDYCSF, Hearts of Ice, Waters Under the Earth, Girl Days, Ill Met By Starlight, To Break Her Chains, Aijou & Aitou, Relentless, Journey, The Least One Can Do, Ranma Goes to War, Fate, Ruler of the Raging Main, BlackDragon6's fics (for lulz), a lot of Ozz's fics (despite his fetish for Ranma-chan), a bunch of rewind gone nuts fics, Aondehafka's fics, and really, a whole host of the classics.

Yeah, it's not like everybody is going to agree on every listed title as a classic. I don't like some of the stories MoSF had listed.

I don't know about its viability as a classic, but it does fulfill the year requirement and I rather enjoy it: <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2741704/1/Chaos_Factor' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Chaos Factor</a> by Nemo Blank.

Also, Destiny always reminds me by a recent fic by Vahn, <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5876464/1/SeaHorse' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>SeaHorse</a>. Largely WAFFy and romantic stuff, but still awesome. And yes, I'm aware it doesn't qualify as a "classic" by the OP's definition. Just an inane recommendation, I guess.

Ebiris's fic got me into Fanfiction in the first place does deserves to be classifies as a classic. Not many thing wrong with that one.

Ah, yes. Duet of Pigtails, that one brings back Memories. Though the poser-esque fanart was highly disturbing.

When Bakas Learn was a very entertaining read, and one of the very few Urd matchups around. Still in top5 of my wishlist for what, 6-7yrs now?

Had some great moments with Ryoko Saotome from Thrythlind, but I don't think we'll see the same from him, at least at the moment. A Ryoko matchup that works, is certainly a classic.

<a href='http://www.maison-otaku.net/~rhea/SMR/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Children of Fire</a>, borned in the boom of R/SM xovers. Dead since 2002.

Does THE BET counts as a classic or an event? It produces interesting concepts and spawned numerous offshots.

If it doesn't , Quantum Destinies count? The link I have doesn't work anymore. Anyone got a working one?

Considering myself and a few whom have been at it even longer... I do not conder 2007 'classic' Ranma fanfiction.

I would have picked something like 2002 or 2004 as the baseline. But whatever.

If you mean "Hell Hath No Fury" I heard, I think on another thread here, that the author wrote himself into a corner. He couldn't figure out how to proceed from there. Which is sad, since I liked that story too.
