There was a comic published in the 70's/80's where the main character was a Native American... I think he was forced to leave his tribe, or left on his own, I don't remember...
Anyway, at one point he hooked up with a white warrior woman, visited the Far East (China, I think - the dragons that were displayed looked like the typical Chinese dragon), and battled two scorpion monsters that looked vaguely like the Rock in The Mummy sequal from a few years ago. (The one with Braden Frasier.)
He got his hands on a flaming sword, which if I recall correctly, belonged to one of the archangels. I distinctly remember, during one battle, he and his enemy were fighting for control of the sword, so he let go of the physical blade and grabbed the flame-sword (flame in the shape of the sword), seperating them. Then he killed/wounded his enemy.
Does anyone remember this series? Or the title?
Many thanks.
