Recently there was a discussion on using kawarimi in the Naruto games. The turbo controller trick was mentioned. The thing is I don't know if all PS2 controllers can put the shoulder pads on turbo mode. Can someone help?

If you're using the official Sony controllers, there's no way to make that perform with a turbo mode. Turbo functions are generally put onto third party controllers to make them a bit more enticing. Logic 3 or Mad Catz, for example, are the kind of thing you're looking for.

(I know a guy whose favourite controller has freaking fans on the underside to keep his hands cool during play. That was a sweet controller.)

I adjusted to it real quick; I actually prefer their feel to the regular controller.
