He did. That one's canon, at least for the comics.

... I think I'm bullshitting, but I could see it being true, given that they've done Superman vs. Aliens and Batman vs. Predator.

Oddly enough, Marvel Cinematic Loki is still more Likable than his comic counter part....

Loki was easily one of my favourite characters in Thor, and despite his newly acquired insanity, he was still one of my favourite characters in Avengers.

Considering who snapped Loki before 'The Avengers' began I am inclined to think he wasn't in his 'right mind' so to speak.

Did I miss something back in Thor? He was definitely not that crazy in that movie, and he certainly didn't believe himself a god, he mocked that concept, didn't he?

I think Ordo might have meant that it was mostly Odin's fault for being an asshat that made Loki go nuts. And Loki was steadily losing his grip pretty much from the moment Odin told him he was a Jotunn. He was as close to nuts as he could get when he released the Destroyer and during the fight on the Bifrost.

Also, why no love for Natasha in the Kid Avengers pic?

And now, it's time for another Good Idea...Bad Idea.

Good Idea: Turning the Avengers into little kids so that you can take over the world while they are helpless to stop you.

Bad Idea: Forgetting the Black Widow, who promptly tattles on you to your mother and you end up having to babysit your now younger brother and his friends.

In the Avenger film, Loki talks about all the things he's seen while traveling reality in the film. He also talks about being free from 'freedom' a lesson he learned from an unnmed source durings his travels. The first 'stinger' shows this source (IMHO) and if anyone could drive Loki totally insane it would be an eternal villain like him.

It would be right up his alley. Seems almost wrong to have the Avengers fighting him when Wolvie and Spidey won't be on the roster, though.

this might make more sense <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8097052/1/#' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Silvertonged Motives</a>

Considering their culture, I can believe it.
