Hey there! This might be long and complicated but I would love some advice so I can finally start somewhere in my story.
I'm planning to write a Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood story and a couple of my OC's are characters I based on real famous people. Now here's what I'm having trouble with:
One of my main characters is an OC based on a real famous person. They have the same name and looks, BUT I've totally changed their life story and some of their attitudes from the real life person. So would that technically mean the OC I created is still considered my original character and not based off of someone totally? I don't want to put my story under the 'crossover' section if in reality my OC isn't the same person as the person people are thinking I'm writing about.
If it's complicated to understand I can always go into deeper detail too. I would appreciate any help or advice.
