The giant boat in the storage yard/final fight scene.  Was that a helicarrier?  It looked like a helicarrier, which hasn't been shown in the x-men universe yet right?  If so, could this finally be the bridging of the gaps between the two marvel cinematic properties?

I know that fox is letting spiderman do shit with the avengers in the future, which is good.  If they're willing to do that, deadpool could have been the first step in linking the two universes.  It's a perfect franchise to do it with too, since he can break the forth wall and acknowledge things other characters have to shy from.

Yes it's a Helicarrier, no it's not "one of those" Helicarriers.

It has nothing to do with the Disney MCU and is just an easter egg for fans. Nothing more. The writer and director have said so themselves.

It's the same thing as when they added Bob in without him being a Hydra Agent. It's something that exists in the comics, but has nothing to do with SHIELD or any relation to what Disney is doing.

Also, Fox doesn't have the Spider-Man movie rights, Sony does.

True. Most blu-rays tend to MSRP at around $25 - $30 dollars, tops. For Blu-ray/DVD/HD combo packs. And judging by the description on Amazon, the extras don't really make up for the price.

Eh, probably someone at Fox deciding to up the MSRP just for sales like this, thinking people will be more likely to buy if they think they're getting a deal. I know I would pick it up, if I had the cash.

I'm hoping someone at Fox made a mistake when pricing it and listed the MSRP for the regular Blu to be the same price as the 4K Blu.

What kind of carrier is that during the last fight? It looks like a shield carrier.
Yeah, I think it's supposed to be a collapsed helicarrier, and due to the clusterfuck licensing Marvel before they got into the movie business themselves, Fox studios has licenses to the X-Men and Deadpool but can't use SHIELD, so they have to reference it with a wink and a nudge

Man. I see that get asked a lot, but basically this. It's a nod to fans and not really anything more than an Easter-egg. They don't have the rights to SHIELD, but managed to skirt the edge of the license to give an elbow poke to fans.
