Deathnote fics

So, I just finished reading the 12 volumes of Deathnote manga. Wonderful read, and a good plot of one-upmanship.
But, the ending left me wanting more. So, anyone know of any good Deathnote fics? I'm sure that the FF.net section is just SATURATED with yaoi fics, but there has got to be a few good fics out there, right?

P.S. I'm out to start the 13th volume, HOW-TO-USE. Inside the front cover is a little cardboard packet, containing Ryuzaki-L's real name. If anyone wants to know it, feel free to send me a pm.

Prepare to be massively disappointed. If you're not into yaoi, there are no good fics in this fandom. Once you take out the yaoi, you're left with pretty much nothing at all, with a tiny amount of isolated exceptions that manage to approach being 'readable'. There was a lone femLight/L fic that was, suprisingly enough, not bile-inducing and actually had some plot, but I since I'd still rather not read it again, I won't bother looking for it.

The most important thing Ryuk learned watching Light Yagami was how to follow the rules to the letter and still break them.
(Time travel. Sort of.)

Because a mother knows when there is something going on with her children, good and bad. Light/Sayu. Incest.
(Perhaps it's due the yaoi concentration in the rest of the fandom, but I'm not nearly as creeped out by this as I probably ought to be.)

Well, after a bit of searching, I've come across a pair of good Deathnote fics myself.

I'm a PERVERT? by Cooper Writer Crafter.

Reading the author notes, its appears that they are into yaoi, but they write an interesting LxMisa.

I remember reading one a long time ago (year+) where Light was brought back to life by Ryuk using the Death Eraser (used in Death Note Chapter 0, which I think was the pilot chapter?), because Ryuk was bored and decide life was more exciting with Kira around.

From what I remember (which isn't much) it was an okay read, with a decent plot and the characters were "in character", but it only had a few chapters, and I don't think it had been update for a long time. No idea if it has since.

If I remember correctly, it featured Matsuda being tricked by Light into helping him (with Matsuda believing Light was a zombie ), Mikami sitting in jail waiting to be executed (he has the Shinigami eyes), and Misa hadn't died yet.

Might have been called "Death Eraser" or something like that. Don't have time to look for it now as I am off to my morning classes. :mellow:

EDIT: Found it real quick before I left:Death Eraser. Last update was Aug. 2008.

And now I have to run because I'm going to be late for class......and we have an exam today ^_^
