I didn't get into watching past the second season, or reading about Digimon, but I greatly enjoyedUltrai Sonic 007's Digimon fanfics. His first one is Zero 2: A Revision, a redoing of the second season of digimon. It continues on to Housemates, Battle of the Shinobi, The Comeback Tour, Sidestories (one-shots basically) and Crisis on Infinite Digiworlds.

Good stuff.

He's also written a good Naruto fanfic called Naruto: Legacy, which is one of the few Naruto stories I bother to follow anymore, as well as what I consider to be one of, if not the, best Final Fantasy X/X-2 stories:

Final Fantasy X3: Dreams and Nightmares.

It's a story he started back in January of 04, and it's still going; he's about, what, 2/3 of the way done? I haven't read that much fanfiction of Final Fantasy, but I imagine this would be the best story in the whole Final Fantasy section of FF.Net. It's a great story even outside Final Fantasy; it takes place 1000 years after FF-X2 and, get this, his original characters are better than most of the portrayals of canon characters authors write. Sadly, Ultra Sonic 007 is busy now, and is splitting time between writing the Naruto story, Crisis on Infinite Digiworlds and FFX3... but updates are like water to a drowning man. In a good sort of way.

For season One, I didn't really think any of them should be paired up together. Infact, I don't really like any of the character all that much. Good show, but I watched it for the digimon mainly.

Season Two, the only character I liked was Davis. Not really sure why. He was a Tai clone. :D Cyclone. Back on subject, sure he was a clone, but I enjoyed reading fanfiction where he got tired of being labled as a clone and branched off. I preferred Davis/Sora, Davis/Mimi, Hell even Davis/Yolie comparted to Davis/Hikari.

Season Three, much like SeiyaxUsagi I am a Takato/Anybody fan. Sadly, I don't really find many good digimon stories, it harder than finding a good Naruto one. :(

Savers, I haven't really watched it. Personally, I just liked the idea of the organization that fought Digimon, wtih Digimon. I just like thinking of ideas where Takoto ends up in savers. Dukemon vs. Takoto!Duemon would be awesome.

The whole time I watched Savers I felt as though they would drop the bomb that Dukemon was Tamers!Dukemon or Suguru was Takato.

Hell, I even had a TamersSavers Prologue in my documents before it was wiped out that branched out after Kurata killed Merukimon.

as much as i despised Daikari i have to admit that of all the second group of digidestined (TK Kari and Ken don't count since they are all technically part of the first group) Davis was the only one i liked both cody and Yolei seemed to lack the balls needed to do what needed to be done at times (consequently this is also why i didn't like henry at first)



that said seiya were do you get all these digimon sigs from.


that said i love the latest one (like i said i am a firm rukato even now


looks like takato is copping a feel



that said it to me a moment to recognize ultra sonic 007 he/she is part of legend makers crew.

Dang... I used to be a semi Takato/Anybody, though I generally went for Rika and him... Before I forsoke pairing wars altogether. In fact, I recall this one fic that offered a premise of Takato having to deal with both Rika and Jeri gunning for him at once, but lost it... In fact, I used to search for it every now and again, but that's really the only thing about it I remembered. I can't even recall if it was good or not... :(

I couldn't find any Rukato pics so I just went to youtube and screenshoted pics I liked.

I am also now a firm shipper of Taichi/Hikari.


One of the best parts of Savers:Nanami

so whats the general opinion of season 4. i enjoyed it but both me and my dad noticed that it was like i watching power rangers digital fury

Better than 02, acknowledged more of the Digimon Mythology (Royal Knights, the seven demon lords etc) but worse than 01, 03 and 05. Kouichi was way too sixth ranger even for digimon standards and Izumi seemed like a poor expy of Mimi. I liked it but it wasn't great.

I never liked Frontier, at all. I just wanted a sequel to 03.

However the evolution sequences were pretty damn cool.

There were only two things good about the fourth season. That and the english themesong. That beat was catchy. :lol:

Other than that, I pretty much lost interest around then. Perhaps it was my getting older, or maybe because they got rid of the favorable partners concept, maybe it was because I wanted a continuation of Tamers, or heck, all three. Either way I haven't seen much past three.

Seriously, three had the most awesome concept ever. Using the cards to enhance the partners... not only was it an awesome concept, it also got rid of the utter uselessness of the tamer all in one go, and even had some strategy to go with it. Sadly it wasn't used a lot near the end there (Though Biomerge was freaking awesome. If only they could have continued using the cards)... and the strategy portion could have been used more...

And it totally would have been awesome to use said enhancements to overcome the level issue. Ie: Champion taking down an ultimate, or a similar comparison, using wit, strategy, and well placed enhancements. That would have been cool...

Yeah, I agree that three is best also. Also, say what you will about pairings but...


...It makes sense to me... or you could use modifier:Bishounen card and this happens...

Digimon anything isn't an interest of mine, but I have a friend who's nuts for it. According to him, there's a full-scale "restoration project" - i.e. fansubs of the original Japanese series - ongoing by a group called Wolfpack Productions.

Look it up.
