Like I said, I didn't get to play very long...as in, I think we only got up to level...three, maybe? Though I did find one thing amusing about our game.
See, I was a halfling mage, since I decided that, as a mage, I wanted to be hard to hit. My goal, albeit a never fulfilled one, was to create a mage that specialized in utility spells and other things that would let us gain indirect advantages in battle, while not really doing much offensively...but that's beside the point, since we never got that far.
This other guy was playing the typical half-orc barbarian. And, well, I ran out of spells I could use for awhile, and my movement sucked...so, I basically hitched a ride on him. We ran into a whole bunch of kobolds, and there was this this one kobold mage that kept casting some spell that would put him to sleep...and I just kept waking him up, since my turn was after the mage's, but before the barbarian's.
So, we actually more or less kept that strategy for awhile...every now and then I would pop out with a magic missile, and since I was a halfling and got bonuses both for my raise and my size when it came to hiding, I was basically successfully hiding in his rucksack almost all the time. Though eventually the DM decided he had to work out riding rules or somesuch for when I would pop out every now and then or somesuch...but yeah, it just amused me.
...of course, you people that play DnD all the time probably have much cooler stories than me.
