New Board, New Avatar, New Fic, Fox Only.

I'm outta practice and snorting madness straight from the source. ITS HAPPENING.

Let's do this shit.

Trophy 0- Welcome to Gameindustri, Player 2!

The Goddess let herself fall through the endless abyss.

Her Self, which was The World, was at its end.

Her lilac eyes never wavered from the form in front of her.

His form was shattered and broken beyond repair.

Yet, despite the pain and sorrow this person must have endured…

…A gentle smile graced his face.

The feelings that this person held…

The feelings that that were caused by this person…

Those strong feelings had changed The World.

Therefore, those strong feelings had changed her, too.

They’d been carved deep into her heart.

Therefore, she would not have any regrets either.

“Damn it… Stop being so depressing. It‘s annoying.”

His red eyes opened and bored into hers angrily.

“You’re always trying to act so aloof and uninvolved!”

His arms slowly moved despite his injuries, wrapping her into an embrace and his eyes and tone softened.

“So, next time, you should try to be more honest with your feelings.”

His hand gently pressed something flat into hers.

“And give this to the person you want to share them with the most.”

A glance showed a white, flowery card with one word on it.

Promise

She leaned into his embrace and wrapped her arms around him.

She seared the memory of his gentle smile into her heart.

As everything came to an end.

-----

“Everything story has a beginning, usually branching from another‘s end. A young maiden falls from the heavens while another players enters the scene. The stage is set for the next act. The curtain rises.

I wonder…

Can you see the path, Haseo?”

BOOM!

A giant dust cloud kicks up into the sky and the earth trembles. Two figures look to the distance at where something seems to have landed.

“What was that? Sounded like something crashed over there, chump!”

A small, gray-and-black rodent-like creature looked towards his companion, a flat-chested girl with pale white skin, red eyes and green hair. She raised her mouse-themed jacket’s hood onto her head and stood up, revealing her tiny tube-top and baggy pants.

“Damnit, how the hell am I supposed to know?!”

The mouse looked back towards the crash site, ear twitching.

“Should we check it out?”

The girl scratched the back of her head and sighed. “Yeah, might as well. There doesn’t seem to be much else to do.”

As the dust cleared and they grew closer the source of the crater seemed to be…

“HOLY CRAP! Is-Is that a dead body? Did we just stumble onto the damn scene of an episode of CSI: Gameindustri?!”

The mouse cowered behind the girl’s legs, its ears lowered. “Maybe you should be the one to check it out, Linda?”

Linda’s skin seemed to pale further if that was possible. “N-Nah, you check it out! You’re the faster one, Pirachu!”

And before he could escape, she reached down and grabbed him by the scruff, tossing him into the hole. “NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO, CHUUUUUU!”

Landing painfully, he nearly found himself face to face with the person. Upon closer inspection, it seemed that it was a young man with gray hair weird red markings in an odd outfit. To all appearances, there could be no doubt that this person… was completely dead.

And yet... Pirachu heard something. Straining his rat-like ears he approached closed and closer until his ear was practically covering the teen's mouth. It was faint but…

“He’s breathing! Linda, this guy, he’s still breathing, Chump!”

Leaning into the crater, Linda’s ruby eyes widened in awe. “Really? Because I swear if you’re lying like that time with that Bitvader, I swear I‘ll kick you so high up that the Goddesses will beat you back down!”

Pirachu began to sweat heavily at that mental image before leaning again. Yup. Still breathing. “N-N-No, I swear he’s still breathing! That isn’t necessary, chump!”

Climbing down into the crater, she began looking at the guy in it. He, wasn’t all that bad looking, really. But, he looked pretty beat up. Patting him down, she frowned. “Huh, no wallet. Shame, no chance of knowing who this schmuck is or scoring a few quick credits.”

Pirachu turned towards his companion. “So what’ll we do?”

Linda scratched at the back of her head as she pondered that question. That… was a good question.

“Well… I’m not sure. I’m damn well not paying for his hospitals bills, so I guess we pull him out of there and drag him to our camp. If he gets better, he get better, but if he dies… not my problem.”

Pulling herself up the edge, she looked back down at her partner. “Well, I’ll meet you back at the campsite once you drag him there. Later!”

Pirachu bleakly stared at the disappearing form of Linda before staring back at the boy. He then looked at his much smaller form and then quickly back up at the crater’s edge, bereft of Linda.

“Good, joke there, Chump!”

He waited a few more moments, but his partner’s form did not reappear. “Linda?

This isn’t funny, Linda! LINDA? LINDA!”

Frantically, the mouse began pulling the arm of the boy trying to drag it to the crater’s edge.

“I’LL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS, CHUU!”

Chapter 1?

[Track 1]

What's going on?

I can't see anything.

I can't feel anything.

Where am I?

Am I... dead?

The last thing I remember is...

...

Nothing. I can't seem to remember anything...

..."Haseo"

Yeah, that's who I am.... I think.

There's something else there.

Faces, names.

Atoli, Alkaid, Endrance, Kuhn, Pi, Yata, Sakubo, Gaspard, Silabus, Ovan...

...Shino...

For their sake, I saw everything through to the end...

...Didn't I?

I really can't remember.

Damn it, there's still too much I've forgotten.

I can't just pass on without knowing like this!

There's something now.

A red light, in the distance.

It brings pressure,
pain.

It's almost unbearable.

But, its proof that I'm still here.

Even if I don't know where "here" is.

Yeah, I swore to see everything through to the end.

So, I can't rest just yet.

The red light seems to pulse, growing brighter. A warmth fills my chest at the sight of it. My hand raises up at it and I seem filled with a sense of familiarity....

-------[Track 2]-----------

The figure groaned as he awoke. He cracked his eyes open before slamming them shut immediately. He repeated this cycle a good six or seven times before he could stand keeping his eyes open.

Pulling himself into a sitting position, he could see that he was at some sort of camp site in a field. Nearby there seemed to be a tent with some sort of commotion inside. Trying to find some sort of clue, he brought up the menu on instinct before pausing in horror.

Name: Haseo
Level: 1
Credits: 0

Quickly scrolling through his inventory, equipment, and personal details he quickly began to hyperventilate. Nothing.

There was absolutely nothing there.

Looking down at himself, he saw a simple leather shirt that extended halfway down his stomach. tight leather pants and more buckles than anyone would ever need. He also seemed to have two twin swords for a beginner.

There was seriously wrong with this situation, but the worst part of it was this was that it didn't even feel like the first time that this had happened!

At this point two shadows had covered him, causing him to look up at a girl and a mouse.

"Hey, you, how the hell are you awake already?! Like an hour ago you were practically a tenderized corpse!"

The mouse nodded at the girls words. "That's right. We were sure you weren't going to make it, Chump!"

The teen paused at there words and seemed to be in deep thought. "Do either of you know who I am? Or if I had anymore stuff than what I've got here?!"

Raising an eyebrow, the girl seemed to stare down at him incredulously. "You fall from the sky and ask if we know who the hell you are?! Like I know! And no, you didn't have crap on you when we found you, either. Why?"

The boy paused before shaking his head and getting to his feet, where he stood a head taller than her. "Sorry, but it seems I've lost all of my stuff and a bunch of my memories. Only thing I've got the the equipment on my back and my name, Haseo. I'm even back to level one!"

The mouse sighed. "Do you at least know where you are?"

...

...

...

"So, let me get this straight, this world, Gameindustri, is made of four continents, which are each ruled over by a goddess and that we're currently in Leanbox which is ruled over by Green Heart. Is there anything else?"

The girl and the mouse both nodded their heads as the girl, Linda, continued.

"Yeah, the world has gotten really dangerous lately. Monsters have been appearing more and more which has really been bad for the people, especially since the Goddesses don't seem to be doing that much about it. It's especially bad in Planeptune, whose goddess hasn't been seen in over three years. But, that isn't to say that there haven't been problems in the other countries, though."

"So, I should head to Planeptune then?"

Linda and Pirachu both paused and looked looked towards Haseo like he was some sort of madman. "W-W-W-what did you say?! What do you mean you're heading to Planeptune?!"

Putting a finger on his chin and letting out a thoughtful noise, Haseo then nodded his head. "Yeah, that seems like the most likely place to begin looking for answers. That and it has the weakest monsters from what info you've told me. Perfect for level grinding."

Brushing off his pants, he gave them both a nod of his head. "Thank you both for all your help. I owe you one!"

As he walked off, Pirachu and Linda both stared at his diminishing form. "...That guy is crazy, chump!"

Linda nodded her head. "Yeah, but its kinda sad ain't it? A level one noob has more of a game plan than us. Even if it'd get him killed."

Pirachu looked up at Linda. "Yeah, maybe we should stick with him for a bit. It'd give us something to do, at least."

They both gave a nod of determination at one another before frantically running after Haseo's disappearing form.

"Wait up! We're coming too!"

[Linda And Pirachu have joined the party!]

RE: Hyperdimension Neptunia//GU

Poor Haseo... at least he has his head on straight and a plan of attack (sorta).
Wonder what's gonna happen when the Gears and the rest of the crew meet up with him (considering the crew he's gotten himself partied to :p ).

Keep up the good work.

RE: Hyperdimension Neptunia//GU

...I don't get what exactly is going on as I only played the first (Hyperdimension Neptunia) one, but at least its not doing harem thing like the other person who did such a crossover so that's a plus in my book.

RE: Hyperdimension Neptunia//GU

Well, I'm trying to power through Victory because there's a character or two that I would like to use from there.

And, no there will not be Harem shenanigans. Especially not from the CPUs/candidates.

I'm also going to play with the change from floating islands in the original to a solid continent in MKII/Victory.

Here's next chapter. Not entirely happy with it, but I slugged through it because was dealing with a seriously bad case of writer's block and IRL problems.

So, here's the next installment.

****************

The term ‘land’ for each of the four realms of Gamindustri is a rather incorrect term. ‘World’ would be the more technically correct term, considering the floating nature of the land masses, each with their own unique architectures determined by their Console Patron Unit, or CPU.

The land of Leanbox, ruled by the CPU Green Heart, was a medieval western fantasy world.

The industrial land of Lastation was home to the CPU Black Heart.

The Lands of Lowee were a snowy fantasy land, and home to the CPU White Heart.

And finally, There was the technological land of Planeptune, which should have been home to the CPU Purple Heart.

Haseo snorted to himself as he continued to idly scroll through websites at a computer. They had managed to track through the dungeon between Leanbox and Planeptune and arrive at the Basillicom to get information and a place to stay.

In that time, he’d managed to level up some and gain information on Gamindustri.

Mainly that things were seriously screwed up here. Three years ago, three CPUs had descended from Celestia and arrived in their respective lands, with the exception of Planeptune’s CPU, Purple Heart.

And things had only gone wrong from there. Scrolling through Black Heart’s blog, Haseo could only wonder if any of them took their jobs seriously, despite the fact they loved their respective lands.

“Honestly, you have the time to post about cats, but you’re not willing to do anything about the corruption or monsters in your own country? Give me a break, lady…”

On a bed nearby, two large rat ears twitched as their owner sat up and turned towards the noise.

“Something the matter, Haseo? You look upset.”

Scratching the back of his head, he signed loudly. “Yeah. Those CPUs seem to piss me off. They remind me of someone with their holier-than-thou attitudes, though I really can’t remember who.”

Getting out of the chair, he approached another bed and started rooting through a bed laying next to it. “Any word from Linda yet, Pirachu? She seems to be gone a lot lately.”

The mascot-like Rat jumped off the bed and stretched. “Not yet, but I’m sick of waiting for her. I’m coming with you.”

Shaking his head, Haseo pocketed some healing items. “That apparent, huh?”

Pirachu gave him a deadpan stare as his whiskers twitched. “Considering that all you’ve done since we’ve gotten here is go and fight monsters, its hard to think of anything else you’d be doing. Besides, you’ll need me if want to fight the boss, anyway.”

He glowered down at his rodent friend. “I can’t help it, it seems like something I might’ve used to do. Go around and fight things until I get some sort of clue. So that’s what I’m doing.”
---------

Noting that his stats seemed to have gone up with the latest dungeon conquest, Haseo gathered up the credits and noticed something mixed in amongst them. Pulling it out, it seemed to be some sort of fragment of something. Bringing it up to his face to examine it closer…

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

Static filled his ears, as agonizing pain seemed to rip through his head. It was hard to think, and his nerves seemed to be on fire.

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

He was in an arena, in the middle of a void, with screens showing their battle to the audience in the distance. He was dressed in more armor, with a wicked looking giant broadsword.

‘Damnit, is this the end?!’

******** tapped her sword against his shoulder. “Hey now, little Haseo, what’s wrong? You’re finished already? Come on, let‘s go! What‘s the matter?! Try to say something, huh?!”

He went flying from her kick, but there was no physical pain, as it was a **** after all, but that didn’t matter right then.

‘No, I can’t be finished!

‘They’re all counting on me! If I lose here, then I-I won’t be able to protect anyone. Not Silabus, not Gaspard, not Atoli…

‘…not SHINO!’

“Is this a memory? Was this… me?”

Memories came pouring in, of her smile, of their time together, of holding her falling apart body in the church with that disgusting red SIGN… Rage poured into him from the Shino-shaped hole in his heart, filling him past the brim.

He gripped his face, the difference between **** and Haseo was gone, every sensation in the **** was as if it were *******. “I swear I am going to kill you with my own hands!

“…and Endrance and Tri-edge!”

He found himself in a black void, but there was something in the distance that seemed to glow crimson… before he found himself in the grasp of-

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

“No! What came after, damn it!”

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

He was in a different outfit now, in a black spiky outfit with a scythe, his ****** *** ******. By his side were two of his comrades and ******* *****, Pi and Atoli. Across from them was the former member of **** ****, Sakaki.

At last it seemed like the nightmare might be over until Sakaki pulled out a clear reddish egg with a black center. An **** egg. Slamming it into himself, Sakaki screamed as the **** infected him, turning his sclera black and irises red.

He could only stare in horror at the sight. “H-he infected himself with **** on purpose?!”

Black dots began to swirl around Sakaki’s body. “I am… I AM…”

Pi shook her head and stepped forward. “An item that that can contain ****.. But who on earth can possibly…”

“I shall become completely one with ****! I shall make all of my ideals a reality ******!” Sakaki grabbed at his face as his eyes began to dart around erratically before locking onto Atoli.

“But before I do that, those who betrayed me…I WILL DESTROY!!”

Black dots of **** began forming in the area around Sakaki.

“He’s coming, Haseo!” Looking back, he saw Pi entering a battle pose. “Before he becomes completely infected with **** we-”

“-Have to fight him, right?” Readying his scythe, he looked back to his left. “Atoli?”

The green healer nodded her head and clenched her staff, eyes showing her resolve to face her tormenter. “Yes!”

“Pi!” To his right, Pi raised her fists and nodded her head. “Ready!”

Tensing his legs, he issued one last command. “Let’s go! Don’t fall back!” As they charged forward.

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

Clutching his head in agony, tears escaped his eyes. “I don’t understand!”

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

Opening his eyes, he found himself in a white void, clad in his white *** **** with a cracked right arm, looked up and saw her, The ******* of The World, ****.

“Little Children of ********…”

Her face stared down at him, perhaps with sorry. Perhaps with fondness.

“Once again strongly grasp your wish, for only a strong wish can change the world.”

As she cvanished, a gloved hand rested on his ruined arm, restoring its condition. “And now you have them all…”

Staring through the orange glasses into the eyes of ****, he could only be shocked as the final ******* ****’* power flowed into him.

“Can we do it, Haseo?”

Gathering himself, he knew there was only one answer. From the feathers resting to where his friend had stood, he walked forward, back to his battle.

“Of course we can.”

-KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST-

“What was all of that?” Clutching his head, he found himself back in the dungeon, with Pirachu worriedly shaking his leg before pausing.

“Are you okay, Haseo? CHUMP” The red eyes peered up at him with concern evident.

Grasping his pants tightly, he braced himself as he staggered to stand. “Yeah, I just had some memories come back to me when I grabbed this thing.” Opening his hand, he showed the fragmented object to his companion.

“What is that?”

“Dunno, maybe someone in town knows.” Shrugging, he pocketed the object before pausing. “Did you hear something, Pirachu?”

The rat mascot twitched its ears tensely for a moment before relaxing them. “Nope, why?”

Haseo scratched at the back of his head nervously. “I thought I heard someone calling out for help, is all.”

Pirachu’s small form scurried up to rest on his shoulder. “You should probably go back to our room and rest, Haseo. I’m kind of worried.”
