Evangelion Eva/FMP Crossover

While i have seen many crossovers in the eva universe i have yet to see a Eva/FMP crossover , after seeing an Eva/FMA crossover ( SimmyC ) i just had to wonder :
Why not a Full Metal Panic crossover ?
All the elements are here :
- S2 engine Eva = AT field / Lambda drive for FMA both have similar effects ( near indestructible except when using another one )
- Big ased Mechs
A difference between then that could be exploited is the different nature of the mechs ( robotic vs biologic etc )
Mithril is after all a mercenary company and having no work for them can't be good .

I have a pair of ideeas about this one :

1. Sousuke helps Shinji grow a spine
2. A love relation between Shinji and Tessa
3. The sempai who took care of Shinji > Kaname
4. The man that saw the potential in Shinji > ( Can be Tessa's brother , Gauron , the lieutenant etc )
5. Shinji is a whispered
6. Mithril learns about third impact from Amalgam due to the fact that Seele ordered the distruction of said organization since they were getting to know too much ...
Many of the ideeas from above can be merged and used for a story .

The main setting would probably be the eva universe ( nothing changed here ) but with one more organization involved ( one that will actually want to prevent third impact ).

Well what do you guys/girls say about it ?

Make sure Shinji has Gauron's personality (ie a fucking psycho), and I'm A-ok with this.

I'm currently in the brainstoreming phaze of the project but you just give one crazy ideea ( if you think about it Gauron is actually a great plotter and and has an obsession on one person ( much like Gendo) and Shinji's genes come partly from Gendo ... a perfect fit need to think more about it )

The best part of it is that if you make Shinji like Gauron, you can afford to have him get massacred in every fight, and... come back stronger than ever even though he should be dead.

It's worth it for the sheer "How the heck did he survive THAT?" factor.

Heh, such as people were saying after we found out that Gauron had previously been shot in the head by a sniper rifle and was somehow still alive and kicking.
