As those of you familiar with Fate/hollow ataraxia know, Rin was transformed into this persona by the Kaleidostick, "which when activated transfers knowledge from an alternate version of its user into its current wielder." Thus, in some alternate (and strange) version of the Nasuverse, Tohsaka Rin is secretly (or not so secretly) the Magical Girl Kaleido-Ruby.
