Evolution One Half by Shudder, it's a Ranma/Rouge matchup although several of the NWC have mutant abilities including Ranma

The Ultimate Antidote by Matdeception.

If you squint it is a Rogue matchup until the last few chapters or so.

Don't read if you are easily maddened by Cliffhangers or can't wait for authors. B)

That is a profound difference. Not only are they not spelled or pronounced the same way, but they are not remotely the same thing. 'Rouge' as an object is lipstick, and it is also the French word for "red", and a 'rogue' is a shady character of some kind, generally a criminal, or at least someone who acts the part. Think, ironically, Gambit of the X-men.

I see this mistake constantly, and no one ever seems to understand why they have to be careful lest things like this happen.

I'd just like to see a good Ranma fic again where he doesn't end up with Akane or is turned into a girl. Seems like every new fic is one of those and it PISSES ME OFF! It drains my will to write Ranma fanfiction. So if anybody here is waiting for an update to one of my Ranma stories (however unlikely that is), don't hold your breath

Star Wars:

A story where Luke and Winter somehow end up together.

And more stories with a focus on comedy in general. It's almost like the SW fandom is 80% ANGSTANGSTANGST, 20%Adventure/Romance and 0,0000001% Comedy.

...dammit, I usually manage to avoid making that mistake. Yes. Rouge. And I am aware of the difference...I just occasionally get the order of the 'u' and the 'g' mixed up...particularly when I'm tired. Eh. Maybe I should avoid posting until I get used to my new job...

And I know your pain, Foesjoe. I haven't come across a good new Ranma fanfic that I actually enjoyed since...oh, Dark Lords of Nerima seems somewhat promising, so far...which was something I ran across a month or two ago. Continually running into Ranma-chan crap has been killing my desire to read Ranma fanfiction in the first place...and the constant Ranma/Akane pairings aren't helping either. Which is sad, because Ranma fanfiction was the reason I got interested in fanfiction in the first place...

The whole of all fandoms could use more GOOD, well-thought out and carefully plotted stories. Stories that don't make hash of the canon cast, attack a male or female lead without justification, or any other misadventure that the writer can't handle well enough to permit suspension of disbelief would be very welcome. Its no secret that I like well-written yaoi so that can stand for a story I'D read even if others wouldn't be as pleased.

Universes I'd like to see such written in include all of Gundam, Stargate SG-1 and Harry Potter. There are others I like too but just those for starters would be nice. Good crossovers would be welcome in those too. I'm so tired of stories where the author's agenda is so blatent you can't read past the second page!

There are plenty of non-yaoi FF7 stuff out there, but most of them were before FF.net's time and pretty hard to find now. And of course, somewhat AU since Square-Enix released the prequels and sequels to the game...

I'm actually hoping for more Negima fics that are comparable to Child of Mine. I don't really like fics that attempt to do a re-write by introducing an older Negi or an OC that is a blatant SI. I liked the AnimeAdventure one with Ranma in it - that one read very much like a slice of life fic and the one that had a cross with Bleach. There was one that fused Love Hina and Negima together but had Motoko behaving like a raving lunatic... *shudder*

Sad to say, there's not much quality in there...

The best Negima fic I've read is Miscalculation, by Alpha Zulu. Better than Child of Mine in my opinion.

1. More TYPE-MOON fanfiction in general. There's plenty of potential here. Just not alot of authors that utilize it yet.

2. Xenosaga crossovers... Where the heck are they?

3. A good Ranma/Nanoha cross. My only hope right now seems to be what Niteflier's cooking up.

4. A good disgaea fic or cross. I've seen a few but it's mostly a dry community.

Really, you can read Shrouded Orange without gagging? Frankly I've read about five crossovers between Naruto and Bleach and Shrouded Orange was by far the worst.

The worst? Honestly, I know it wasn't very good, but out of the 384 results the FF.net search engine pulls up, some of them have to be worse then mine!

Now, to get back on topic. Rouge Galaxy fics. I want Rouge Galaxy fics. For those who don't know of it, it's a PS2 RPG with a couple of screwy mechanics and a few OOC moments, but overall is an incredible game wil good writing, phenominal graphics, and very nice characters. Sadly, in all my hunting, I've only come across one fic for it, and it's something about the character voiced by Stephen Blum discovering Christmas. Seriously.

Oh, and Rouge Galaxy lemons. The game is full of potential lemons!

Theres not much quality anywhere. There are good fics of course, and some fandoms have more than others. However, in terms of sheer amounts, crapfics outweigh ok fics generally by a factor of 81.7 to 1 (and I dare someone to do the math and prove me wrong).

Lots of things, but right at this moment, a HP fic in which Harry travels to the past/future/alternative dimension/wakes from a coma/ect, and upon meeting his now alive parents, DOESN'T cry and weep over them, especially his mom. It doesn't matter if he is a harden battle mage or dark lord, he meets his parents again and shows no reservations in loving and accepting them.
