Naruto Fanfiction

Oh, to add to my thing, I have plenty of ideas, most of which are constant ones (among others, Kamen Rider OOO/Sailor Moon crossover that centeres on Eiji and Rei from the respecitve shows sharing the name Hino, a remake of my Naruto: Lycan Ninjas fanfic which didn't get far but was crud, countless MLP crssovers and Naruto crossovers, currently Yugioh and Shinkenger are most prominant for each bar Naruto/MLP ones.) but I just can't get the motivation to write while I'm at Uni... at least, not now that I have end of semester assignments. Which are all about writing.
That, and I've forbidden myself from Naruto fanfiction unless the idea I get is good enough and I'm confident enough in my writing skills. The last one I attempted to write before this ban involved Konan being brainwashed by a sexual themed jutsu accidentally used by 8 year old Naruto while Anbu fought her off. Fortunately its been years since that, although if I adjusted it, it could make for a good M rated fic, in retrospect... just gotta alter a lot of it.

I've written some Gundam SEED stuff lately, and am currently deciding whether to update one of those, my FF7/FFT crossover or start a new Naruto fic. It's doubtful I'd post them here though, as I tend to write both het and same-sex pairings in fics nowadays. I've got a lot of other ideas but this is what I'm mainly looking at right now.
I got that point, but I was ignoring it to get closer to the original point of the topic, which is where you are with fanfiction. That's an idea I had a while back, but no real drive to even think seriously about writing. On top of my tendency to start and never finish, it would involve the effort of actually rereading the series for research purposes. ^_^;
You know the feeling where you want to write, your fingers itching to type but you don't know what to write? I want to start writing something else since I'm starting to lose the desire to continue on my current project as I'm starting to regret writing it in their current ages. I would like to start on something either new but keep it in that universe but I can't for the life of me think of what to write that's somewhat unique, maybe a threat or unexpected changes to their bodies as a result of their changes, maybe silted eyes or something that they have to deal with?

Yeah I think you're right. I did that before and worked on a couple of stories and it did help.
I'm really into SCP Containment Breach so I may see if I can whip something up with that idea. With the list in the thousands, there's bound to be something I can use.

Writing cutscenes for an old Naruto story idea that (despite several tries) is out of my talent to write, yet refuses to leave me the hell alone.
The other main project right now is a Metroid fanfic that attempts to make sense of Samus' rather infamous portrayal in Other M by placing that version of her as the earliest point in the timeline, thus making Adam's death the reason for her transformation into the badass we all know and love.
