Yes, any movie. Post whatever recs you have to share. Share the wealth.
Descendants has actually ended up being the 5th most watched cable TV movie of all time already, according to the Disney Channel. Not bad for premiering Jul 31st. I could have done without some of the musical elements, but it IS Disney. And I used Maleficent pretty much for two reasons. One, I wanted to add Marvel-esque continuity to Disney's live action universe. Two, as awesome as Kristin Chenoweth is on Broadway, she made Maleficent a little too over the top and campy for my taste. Say what you want about Angelina Jolie, she at least nailed the icy disdain Maleficent seemed to have for everything.
Of course I resolved it by saying Maleficent went batshit insane being exiled to an island with no magic with the rest of the Disney villains. Take that for what you will.
