Bleach Fic search

I looked through a couple of pages, and while I saw many individual fic searches, no topics dedicated so that everyone who is looking may post there, and people read to see wether they can help some people out and ifthe fics draggged up suit their own tastes...

This one may be used for that, though I doubt it will be.

Personally, my favorite Bleach character s Hitsugaya Toushiro. Yes, yes, the ladies of Bleach are fine and I like them too, and Toushiro is one of those characters that is either really popular, or disliked, with a few that don't realy care too much.

So I've only found one or two of such fics as I wish to read more of myself; Toushiro entering Seireitei and his path to becoming a Shinigami Captain. So if anyone can link me up to a story or two in which the Origins of Hitsugaya Toushiro are described (acurate or not with canon and/or Diamond Dust Rebellion) I would be most grateful. They don't all have to be masterpieces, some decent ones are good too. Just no slash, or too much HitsuHina. I like Hinamori as a friend-character very much, but I'm not crazy about her and thus favor every other possible pairing with the sole exception of HitsuKarin...while there has been plenty of material in the anime for people to over-implicate and read too much into, to me it seems a bit...flakey.

So please, give me something new to read...thank you.

Technically AFTER he becomes a captain, but this explains more how he settles into it I suppose. :mellow:

yup, Frozen Sky is no stranger to me. Love it. Shame it hasn't been updated in so long.

Matsumoto and how she became his Lieutenant? That's sounds like good reading as well. Thanks for the recs. Anybody have some more? Lemons are welcome too...just to broaden the criteria even more.

I just got through rereading Stray Cat Strut and was wondering if there was any halfway decent stories in a similar mold of Ichigo developing his powers earlier than in canon.

I'd like this too, but not exactly. Are there any fics where Ichigo actually CARES about developing his powers? You know, a fic where he takes his job seriously and actually works to improve (IE: learn kido from Rukia or having her find a tutor (Yes; Tessai), better zanjutsu, etc.) rather than wing it when motivated by necessity?

Well, there's Treading Icy Waters I suppose. It's really the only one that comes to mind, in which a bored Gin decides to screw with Hitsugaya for lulz, and then Aizen becomes intrigued by this scenario he created. Their interaction and overall way they seem to converse between each other is probably one of the main reasons I follow that story, it's that damn good. It also has an interesting look into the characters of Isshin and Urahara, though not to the degree that I enjoyed Aizen and Gin of course.

Anyone know any good Chad centric fics? Been re-watching the early episodes and was reminded of how awesome he was back when him and Uryu were allowed to do stuff
