Free Comics
Now you can read all those comics that in the case of us poor swedes are rather difficult too come by.
Does "Gotham Girls" sound like porn too you too?

They have those too?!
Damn, this place seems to have an extensive collection, and I'm not experiencing any inconvenience other than a slow page download. It seems legit (or as much as any place on the internet can be).

Well yes, last time I checked, WE HAVE OVER 200,000 COMICS would imply that they had a lot yes.

And since there are so many would any of you mind giving some recommendations?
I prefer DC over Marvel right now but any good ones you can name would be appreciated.

Comic book shops don't seem to like me.

Forgive me for expressing glee over the fact I'm now able to read Marvel to my heart's content. And I'm finally able to understand What-The-Hell-Is-Going-On, which is kind of important when one wants to understand the characters' actions and motivations.

@core_88: What's your favorite superhero or team? What era do you want to start with? The very beginning or the more recent stories? I'm catching up on the What If? series and various mutant story lines (e.g. House of M).

I can't come up with any good Marvel recommendations just now, but I recommend some of Dark Horse Comics Predator, Alien, Aliens versus Predator stories if you're into action sci-fi horror.

For both action and laughs, I recommend Agent-X, which came out when Marvel was still worth reading.

Just read the Death of Gwen Stacy, the rest of Marvel isn't worth it (and it never was).

I hate that stupid retcon with Gwen Stacy about her having an affair with Norman Osborn before she died.

Just like I hate Ed Brubaker's X-Men retcon.

It's probably one of the two things that'd make me drop those two unless they retcon the retcon.

For insane fun i recommend "Badger" the story of a guy from Wisconsin who dresses up as a superhero and beats up people who abuse ducks. Strangely enough he has a history of mental illness.

Favorite quote." All my dainty underthings are made of kevlar."

Come to think of it, they don't even have half of Bone. And they don't have Tek Jansen, but that's aimed at such a small niche, that I'm really not surprised.

On the other hand - they've got things in color. Awesome.

Bit of a necro, sure, but I need to ask, What's the name of the most current JLA comic line? They don't give date's.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing it? I keep getting 'The operation has timed out.'

Yeah. I've had trouble getting the site to load for about a week now. No clue why this is occurring. :huh.:

I'm actually not fazed. I mean the site would take forever to load and if I wanted to read a comic it would usually take less time for me to find a dl file of it, download it, and then read it then try and put up with the loading time of the site.

Necroing this thread, but is there another site like this out there that hasn't yet been shut down?
