What arcs, events, characters, tools or jutsu appeared in the anime or films that you would have liked to have seen "canonized"?
There are a few things in canon that originally started in the anime/films and then were adapted into the manga or referenced in the fourth databook. Kurosuki Raiga and Kiba, Storm Release (in name only), Torune's friendship with Shino as children, Yamato's history with Root, Chuukichi, Gari, Toroi and Pakura and her backstory.
Is there anything you'd have like to have seen show up in the manga in some form or another? It doesn't have to be a direct adaptation, just the basic idea at least.
For me it would be the Chakra Armour from the Clash in the Land of Snow film. I think it would have been cool to see that in the hands of the most elite samurai, showing advanced technology in the absence of jutsu and the ability to neutralize the ninja arts. That and the Sword of the Thunder God from the Land of Tea Arc which would have made a better "thundersword" than the one that can basically be replicated by anyone skilled with the lightning element.
I'd also have liked the Twelve Guardian Ninja and Three-Tails arcs to be implemented. The former as an opportunity to explore more of the Narutoverse, taking a closer look at another branch of chakra users, the nobility of the Land of Fire and their religion that could have potentially tied in with the Sage of Six Paths. And the latter because Konoha trying to stop Akatsuki and other villages from taking an actual Bijuu could have been a nice departure from the norm. Not sure how much of the specifics I'd keep (e.g. pseudo-jinchuuriki, revived past members, Yukimaru etc.) but I like their concepts.
