And how did you come to that conclusion? I'm not casting them as the bullies like Bulk and Skull were, I'm casting them as "Shinji wants to know the identities of the rangers, and Sakura is tagging along to keep him out of trouble."

But think what you want, it's no skin off my nose.

Well, you compared them to Bulk and Skull. That's hardly a good comparison....

Although, even if you aren't actually using them in that way, she's not exactly being given a particularly nice role here. Which I guess I should have expected, given the author.

Have you even watched Power Rangers? Bulk and Skull have pretty much the largest amount of character development in the entire series.

But whatever, you're wrong, I'm right and if you don't like it, nobody is gonna force you to read it. Except yourself, just so you can nitpick and complain.

Mike, this is Bulk and Skull by the end: Maybe the best scene ever in Power Rangers.

Don't you be dissing Bulk and Skull.

Say, do you have a pic of what ORT looks like ? I'm really unfamiliar with the material she appears in, so actually knowing what she actually looks like when she isn't a non-euclidean monstrosity would be great.

I actually don't know squat about ORT-tan myself, so I may end up taking her out in the final version, and just have Medea as the Big Bad.

bulk and skull at first are lol bullies with no qualities
but then they grow a lot as characters and the original rangers considered them friends to cheer for
yeah they bumble around but they try hard and sometimes can do great things like at the end of lost in space

I have, yes, but only the original series, so I don't remember them being anything other than bullies....

Well, we'll see. But, I'll be pretty surprised (albeit pleasantly so) if you end up giving Sakura any kind of positive role, given your past attitude to her.

We have already said that they grow out from being bullies and become friends with the rangers at the end and have gotten jobs before.

That is an excellent point, and another part of my dilemma.

Police Officers, Postal Workers, Detectives, and Bulk own's a resort as well, by the time Wildforce roll's around. Plus they have been the reason behind the Rangers surviving occasionally.

Blackmail: he works for her, she will free his bro/sis Enkidu from his/her prison outside time and space (or something similar).

Isn't that technically bribery? But, that is a good idea, although I'd have to edit Gil's personality to make it fit...

Gilgamesh can't beat ORT. Gilgamesh can't acknowledge that he can't beat ORT. He's just looking for an opportunity to do the impossible.

That was my though as well. Gilgamesh, no matter how powerfull, is small potatoe compared to ORT sheer HAX. Of course he can't accept that fact and so he seethe, waiting for his opportunity to show everyone who the true king is.

In short, he is Starscream.

Well, that's never a good thing to be, considering what usually happens to him.

Speaking of Gil anyway, what do you guys think:

EvilRanger!Gil or Basco!Gil?

Note: Evil Ranger!Gil is not the Green Ranger.

Don't tell me you never wanted to see the smug bastard get slapped around by karma every once in a while.

He certainly would make a good Goldar equivalent considering that Shirou, who is basically for all intent and purpose the anti-Gil, is the red Ranger.

And the name Basco is kind of drawing a blank. Who's that again ?

basco is the villain in gokaiger
the pirate super sentai 35th.

Gil would be better fit as a evil ranger than a Basco like character, he is too stupid and/or pridefull to even consider the kind of thing Basco did in Gokaiger.

I like Gilgamesh though. Except in UBW though, since he killed Illya :blue:

That was always the plan, regardless of which type I make him. Or if I decide to make him both.

Gil's not stupid. Arrogant, definitely. But not stupid.

And I suggested having Gil as a Basco-esque character, because having him spam Ranger Puppets would be more in line with his GoB, then him only possessing a single Ranger Power.

So, you want Gilgamesh to either be an evil Power Ranger, or a gay pirate.

I think you may be taking what I said a little too literally.
