Gravity Falls was created back in June of 2012 (kinda ironic considering the show) and is now in its second season. It's a mix of adventure, comedy, drama, and most important of all mystery.

With the main characters of Dipper and Mabel Pines, their Grunkle Stan, and two helpers in Wendy Corduory and Soos, the two main twins navigate the mysteries of Gravity Falls, Oregon as well as Summer vacation and growing up.

Poor Kids.

Latest ep can be counted as one of the best with a redemption of a recurring character, a great theme, and very impressive animation and visuals.

Come on guys. I can't be the only liker of this show.

Oh and the theme song will never leave you.

I find Pacifica's stuff interesting, especially considering that she was initially conceived as a flat foil for Mabel. Fan response was apparently so great that in Season 2 she got upgraded to actual character. Also, Old Man McGucket is Awesome.

So, I'm guessing a world where Dipper, Mabel, and Grunckle Stan were lost to the strangeness of Gravity Falls and Pacifica is stepping up to save someone she cares about and his family.

As of the most recent episode (Dungeons Dungeons and Dungeons) some of my concerns about Gruncle Ford have been alleviated. Oh sure he and Stan still don't get along but Ford appears to be a force for good. It's also nice that Dipper has some one similar to him in a mentor role. That said....the Dimensional rift in a jar is the kind of thing I'd happily hurl into a black hole, and it's creation allows me to understand some of Ford's anger.

As for the monster of the day.....I'm sorry I know this is a Disney toon....but that is EXACTLY the kind of thing you don't allow to live or at the very least ensure will be imprisoned permanently in a deep hole.

Admittedly that is the kind of thing I'd expect from Tzeentch so seeing it on Disney XD does add an extra slice of horror.

Though....I'd pre-order the Next Kingdom hearts on the spot if they announced a Gravity Falls as Run by Bill Cipher level.
