Guild Names

Hello,

As we all know it's very hard to come up with a decent guild name if you haven't already thought of one, I sat for around 3 hours trying to figure out a guild name, and I ended up with "Knights of Vengeance" tho I did get some help with this! I have bad imagination, very bad, and I could not for the life of me come up with any decent guild name! So I used the respected google, and ended up with this site named Nickyee.com, he has a feature on his website which generates 100 out of 22k guild names each time you refresh the site, I was just wondering what you guys thought about this, do you think that a guild name should be unique and self made? What type of guild is it, and what type of server are you on? What is the main focus of the goal, and what are your plans for the future. Also, is it a serious guild or a fun one? What side as well.

Obviously, if you are an orc and you plan to pvp, WAGGHHH would hilarious. Especially as a BM hunter or shaman.

Hehe well, it is a guild I made just to have a guild! I have no future plans for it, I'm an role player, playing a gnome mage on eu realms (Sunstrider). I did end up naming the guild "Council of Vengeance". What do you think of that?

I love our guild name, but it's nice to sit down and wonder what other guild names I could have come up with.

Personally, I dislike using generators, but I would take something from it and make it into my own if I liked the name enough. The problem is originality. Everyname you can think of has been done to death, beaten bloody, resurrected, then beaten to death some more.

My guilds name is BLOODWALK on the server Bloodscalp and we got over 200 members, 4 bank tabs and most (1/3) of those members are 70+ right now.

We have accomplished this in under 2 months.

UPDATE: March 17, 2009

now counting 390+ members, 5 bank tabs and boasting a high number of geared holy priests who are ALWAYS on, also have a grandmaster in EVERY profession... except engineering but I'm working on correcting that personally.
