One or more of the girls from Gunslinger Girl is the UK, and gets a Hogwarts invitation (though the poor owl might not survive, depending on how trigger-happy the girl is, and the owl's agility & magic, if any). For some reason, the Agency they work for decides that the girl or girls should go. Year is up to the author.
