Since it just had to be done, and all...another miscellaneous ideas topic, mainly to get those .hack juices flowing!

Personally, I would love to see a transition story about Elk. Basically, a walkthrough of all that transpired from Mia's "death", all the way up to joining Haseo as Endrance, getting mixxed up with AIDA, the whole works.

Also, it could be made a good crackfic as to where he went from "quiet tagalong" to "I love you, and wait with baited breath for you to log on." :lol:

Piros, the father of Komiyan. Komiyan took to playing the 'World' soon after his Dad called it safe to play, a year or so after the Dot Hackers faded away from the limelight.

Not as crackish, but I can see it working.

Well, the Terror of Death is pretty famous, right?

How abouts we give him a harem. Because that's totally original. Branched out a bit, though...and set after he wins the third arena. Alkaid and Atoli, for sure. Why not throw in Natsume, and NA00, and any other random character we want? Well, the random ones for fangirl effect, I guess.

The World is the only place I can think of where cyberring gets new meeting. :rofl:

Aura, God of the The World (or at least the first version) stumbles onto fanfiction and decides to take initiative from it.

Cue Aura striving to collect her very own harem. Kite fleeing his maddening pursuers through dungeons thought to be impossible for one alone. Orca and Balmung cutting a swath of resistance through Aura's minions, determined not to become ill-fated yaoi pets. Shugo seeking aid from Zefie only for her to turn on him; so long as she can share him with her mother, she's content. Tsukasa thinking her real gender keeps her safe only for Aura to announce with a cheshire grin "There are no girls on the Internet!"

Cue the laughter. Cue the hilarity. Cue the crack.

eh, I've had another idea randomly pop into my head but you'll have to bear with me as i have little knowledge of either of the series I've come up with in a crossover.

I was thinking something along the lines of a .hack and GITS crossover. I know very little about either one but they seem like they would fit together quite well what with section 9 getting dragged into The World and its many conspiracies and layers of whats right and wrong etc etc.

I'm sure there's someone out there that has far better knowledge of the series in question and come up with a better way to bring these two together.

:huh: :unsure: :wacko: x.x Sorry but I don't see this happening. Pluto's Kiss pretty much ensures that the timelines stay very far apart, and without Pluto happening, the World doesn't get designed. And besides, Harald Hoerwick wouldn't be wasting his talent on something that was already made.

Okay, this area is dead. And I've just rekindled my flame for .Hack fiction. So, I'm surprised. I haven't seen one story where Orca did in fact, get the bracelet like he was supposed to. Think the quest would have gone faster with Orca in charge? Was Kite the one to be sent in a coma, could they both have gotten out of it okay? Just trying to put a little bit of life back here.

Something I noticed when fighting the second hidden boss on GU 2, Atoli will, stand in the way on an attack just so she can heal that last seventy or so points of damage with a rephe spell, and take about one hundred damage in the process. this was before I figured out, you had to hold down the L1 button to get your party to follow you. - -;;

Just thought that, someone sitting her down at some point and trying to get survival instincts and common sense across to her might be interesting.

On another note, a thought crossed my mind of one of the older players that Haseo teams up with spotting the Doppleganger and calling it a heartless or anti-Haseo might be a bit funny.

Sound's a bit disjointed. Wouldn't Aura be very well aware of the strange happenings going on in the world? Takes a bit of the fun out of it.

Though I do like the idea of Kite and Aura being a team/pair.

Agreed. Needs Blackrose.

Even if you dont agree on Kite/Blackrose, Kite without Blackrose is like pie with no fork. Still enjoyable just not enjoyable enough.

Well, I didn't say the idea was pefect. But Aura will put restrictions on herself if she joins as a player. Not too many of course, but you get the idea.

And yes, Kite and Aura as a team is one of the first things that came in my mind when I got the idea.

As for Blackrose... Meh. If -I- wrote my own idea, which I probably won't, I wouldn't have any idea how to insert her in the fic. You'll have to think of that one yourself.

Edit: You know what? No. This isn't the same as the first game series. I can't think of any logical reason on why Blackrose would be there. Do remember that she started playing only because of what happened to her brother. Many years later, you think she has time in her schedule for online games?

Kite would be in the exact same shape if you're going by that logic. He only played the game because Orca begged him to. Canon!Blackrose definitely has strong feelings for Kite at the end of the first series of games. Logic need not apply.

Fine. I have no ida what Blackrose would do in the story. I have no role for her nor do I have an idea on how to write her.

As for the offer, it is my belief that the 3 Azure Knights are made of the 3 players we know from the first game, only looking corrupted because not all the data made it from the servers crash of The World.

So Aura could easily, even if it takes some time, reconstruct Azure Kite... Or Kite decides that he want to help the current World. And to do that, he needs the bracelet.

And I'm not saying he'll join with Haseo. We all have an idea on how he'll react to Skeith.

Depends on what Aura tells him.

As for BlackRose, if you really don't care for writing her, you could write her in as someone who only joins in for certain raids--i.e., Kite needs another party member and calls her in.

If I remember the ending of Legend of the Twilight (excuse me while I slit my throat for daring to mention the possibility that that has any chance of being canon) correctly, at the end of the weirdness Balmung started talking with Orca about how Kite and BlackRose were finally coming back to The World together.

Re: The Azure Knights: You're actually correct. The Azure Players are nothing more than the old player data animated and sent around by Aura. Heck, it might be funnier if the original Kite was Azure Kite sometimes. You know, like having a second account....?

Do remember too why project G.U. exists: to complete project R.A.: Retrieve Aura. That was the whole point of players controlling Phases. And considering they can still go berserk...

As for Azure Kite being an account of Kite? Nah, I don't see it.

All that was on the bonus disk given with the GU games. You'll learn how much you can hate CC Corp. and how we're all glad Yata is on the good side. For exemple:

The loss of the ultimate A.I. Aura, was the second major
network crisis. In other words the birth of Aura paved the
way for "The World's" second paradigm shift. "The World's"
golden age lasted from 2011 until 2014. When Aura's disappearance
was confirmed "The World's" golden age had truly become a
dark age.

A variety of problems such as faulty servers began to spread
everywhere. Not just "The World" but the entire internet.
However, once CC executives learned that the cause of these
problems was due to the loss of Aura. They began to formulate
a plan to counteract against the silent danger. They would
forcibly restore Aura back to her original state. They
intended to seize control over the next network society by
creating and managing this ultimate A.I. themselves. It was
a return to the plan both CC Corp. and Altimit Corp. had
hatched during the first network crisis, that was back in
2005, when they were still using the Altimit operating system.
Altimit had managed the network's hegemony.

And why we must all hate them:

Amagi and I continued our search for the other seven pieces
of the Morganna Factor. Skeith, Innis, Fidhell, Gorre, Macha,
Tarvos, and Corbenik. Eventually we discovered that the Macha
piece had once again attached itself to the cat character
Mia. We were able to extract it by destroying the cat character.

In short, we do not want R.A. to to be completed. Since Aura can outmatch any hacker, being the ultimate A.I., the only way they can do it his with the phases.
