Hack/Slash

Does anybody follow the Hack/Slash comic?

It seems to be a fanservicey zombie apocalypse comic. I tend to find that zombie apocalypse stories are incredibly hit (Left 4 Dead, High School of the Dead) or miss (many unmemorable B-movies... the type that air on SyFy on weekends). So I was wondering if anybody can tell me whether or not it's any good...

Its not too bad, certainly a decent enough read.
Don't remember a zombie apocalypse though, last I checked they were hunting 'Slashers' revenants driven by urges they had in life cranked up to eleven, essentially Freddy and Jason types.

That and Chucky turns up.

Well, I know almost nothing about it, but I read a blurb that indicated it was a zombie story. Something about how the lead character does battle with her zombie mother or something.

Don't follow it but from what I remember of it it's a girl hunting down serial killers that are like Jason, Freddy, Michael, and such with her own slasher sidekick. I'm sure as the stories progressed it's moved to more horror movie adversaries, which would include a zombie apocalypse probably.

Always wanted to get into it but by the time I learned about it it was 20-30 issues in and I don't have the money to buy the trades.
