This idea is up for adoption.

Vernun Dursley sends Harry of to leave with some 'freak' relatives of his in the US. What would Harry be like if Theodore and Julia Diggers raised him?

Well, if he had the talent he would probably miss Hogwarts. He would probably be apprenticed to a mage on Jade when his letter arrived. I am not one to believe that an owl could deliver a letter to him on Jade. Also I doubt he would go. He would be a mage, their would be no practical reason to put his training on hold to learn a magic system that is based on spells of convenience.

I'd rather him be Julia's apprentice personally. Can you imagine the look on Voldemort's face after he hits him with a Leep Palm ^^

I was considering doing something like this, but I found that the canon for the two different series and magic systems was too difficult to mesh properly. So I dropped the idea.

I, sadly, know next to nothing bout Gold Diggers (though I plan to get off my lazy ass and correct this. Someday. Mebbe) but I love stories that have Harry introduced to and learning a different magic system than the weak stuff they have in canon HP. Heck, if someone writes this I'd be happy to read hte story andhopefully learn a little something bout GD as well as being entertained by a Harry with a different Magic story.

My point stays. Unless going to Hogwarts was the only way for Harry to not lose control of his magic, he would not go to Hogwarts in this scenario. He would consider wizarding magic to be too weak and mundane to put his life on hold.

He'd also be a child and likely in public school at that age (Gina and Brittany were.)
So it depends of his parents choice.

Depending on when it takes place if he was training to be a fighter he could be training under Julia, which means he'd be training in Jade. And I doubt Jade has much in the way of public education.

The idea came from all of the manipulative Dumbledore fics there are and I wondered how Dumbledore would like trying to manipulate Harry when his legal guardian is as accomplished a mage as Theodore Diggers.

Let me put it this way. Theo would put the fear of the firey skull into Dumbles.

Well the magic systems can be meshed together. Like you said there is the wand waving spells of convenience and then there3 is the magic he learns from his adopted fathjer Dr.Digger.

Both require access to your magical core but have varying results. You can switch from onme systemn toi the other if you have a wand and...accidental and wandless magic could be the Jade version...it`s just Wizarding society is so used too having a wand or thinking you need a wand it is the prevelent mindset.

It isn't that simple to mix the series. HP has its magic where the characters are innately magical and with a wand to focus that they can cast spells. In GD mages access the ether stream to cast spells (different types of mages do it in different ways, for example: war mages focus the ether through their own bodies.)

You forget the most distinctive part of GD's magic also. It can't be used against metal. Also, it can't change things on an atomic level. Harry Potter magic could likely be very powerful against GD simply because it doesn't have those glaring weaknesses. Any fic would have to explain why HP type magic doesn't have these weaknesses.

You also have the differences in both series ways of keeping secrecy. HP has been obliviating muggles since the 1700's to keep themselves unknown. GD on the other hand, had their magical races move to Jade millenia in the past. You'd have to combine the two and find an explanation for why the HP wizards didn't go as well.

While these series can be crossed, it would take more explaining than I'd care to do.

The wizards didn't go because their run by intolerant bigots who refuse to believe that anyone has any noticible advantages over them.
