As said in the subtitle, I blame Cornuthaum for this. The chat we had is what inspired me.

So... Have any of you played System Shock 2? If so, you may remember that at the end, SHODAN manages to escape by taking over a woman fleeing the Von Braun in an escape pod.

...and that seemed to be the end of her. Nothing is heard of from her ever again...

...until, thousands of years later, her legacy runs amok across the galaxy, crushing everything in its path.

That legacy's name?

Tyranids.

I wish to add that yes, I am perfectly well aware that the 'nids are older than that and have eaten GALAXIES (maybe.), but SHODAN as the Hive Mind of the Tyranids is so fucking scary that it has to be done. X:

Wouldn't work. SHODAN's tried that before, and it turned on her - that's basically the main plot of SS2, isn't it?
