Right then, I was chatting with the Wickerman, and well, this crazy idea popped into my head?

Are any of you familiar with the children's cartoon Mr. Benn?

I realise that Wiki isn't the best of sources, but it serves my purpose right now

Well, what if a hapless male lead acquired a collection of cursed shirts?

Each shirt gives him a different powers, for lack of a better term, and the adventures spin off in various directions. For example, a football shirt would either give him leet skills or make him a hooligan

I'm thinking that this should be a round robin, but I'm not sure who the lead should be.

Options are Ranma (obviously), Keiichi Morisato, Shinji Ikari (I guess. Doesn't really fit with Eva, but that hasn't stopped people writing odd fics).

I'm sure that there's someone else that fits the bill that I've omitted, but that's how it goes.

Now, since I see this being a round robin, I'm tempted to start something on the Addventure, but I have so many other fics that are popular for some reason and I want some feedback on this idea.

Remember - just because it seemed like a good idea in your head, it doesn't mean that people want to read it.

My options would be:

1)Keiichi.
2)Shinji.
3)Ranma.

Why? Because this would fit perfectly with the AMG universe for one, second a Shinji with cursed shirtsw would be fun to watch and third Ranma with behaviour altering artifacts is not that uncommon.

Heh. I'd probably go with what Moshulel said. Of course I'm not sure with Mr. Ben or whatever, but yeah. Should be interesting with K1. ^_^

K1 would work. Heck, it's not that out of the question for Urd to have some cursed clothes laying around and then, when finding out that K1's birthday is today, rummaging through her shit desperate for something to give him, comes across a bunch of cursed t-shirts to give him, conveniently forgetting that they're cursed as she's quite sloshed at the moment.

Negi could be cool, his sister always struck me as somewhat of a space cadet, so she sending him something weird is possible. Or Chamo might have stolen some cursed clothes that comes in handy as everything else is wet/dirty/whatever.

Kazuki from Maburaho. The girls always have all sorts of odd things, some cursed clothes could quite easily fall into his hands.

Taro from Hanaukyo maids. That place has everything, why not some cursed shirts?

There's a Negima doujinshi where the girls get trapped in cursed swimsuits, because Asakura was too curious for her own good. Heh. Fun stuff. :snigger:

I'd wonder how the character would get into more then one of the cursed shirts though, as I think he'd be wary of his clothing after the first incident. Unless, of course, they WANT to wear them.

Another possible subject for this fic might be Keitaro. You never know what you might find in the Hinata when you take a look around... Or maybe not. *shrugs*

The character may not conciously remember behaving oddly after wearing one of the shirts.

Or at least not until they have all been worn at least once.

Well, he does sort of find the Hina blade, which is a bona fide cursed sword. And wasn't there a skeleton under the annex? <_<

The main problem with using Love Hina is the fact that Keitaro angers me greatly.

Which is a reason why I haven't written any LH fics.

Perhaps Daisaku from Giant Robo would make a suitable break from the norm?
