Ignore function?

Since Hawk is going on vacation (and may it be relaxing and fruitfull!!!!) I'm posting this here for either discussion and/or as a reminder.

I don't write anything myself, nor do I post as often as others, but on more than one occasion I've read threads where one participant so wholely misses the point or decides to pointlessly carry on an arguement that I wish I could just skip their posts. So frankly I'd love it if there were an ignore function. Only one or two active posters I could think of off the top of my head that I'd use it on right now, but thats still one or two more than I want to deal with.

You know, I'd like the option of an Ignore feature also, but I'm guessing it would have to be something enabled by Invision itself. Somehow doubt Hawk could add one on his own.

It's a nice idea though.

I don't think that's possible on an IF board.. if anything it would have to be a code but I haven't come across one yet.

Me either. I've been looking around for about an hour now and haven't found anything of the sort. But if anyone does come across one for the invision boards, gimme a holler.

Yeah, one can only hope that the new version gets released one of these days. I think it looks pretty decent and wouldn't mind converting TFF to it.

But seeing as I've been waiting since like april for it, I'm not holding my breath.

I guess most of my faithful readers are very familiar with that feeling, waiting for an update but knowing that it'll likely take quite a while. *grin*

meh, you're not the worse I've seen in doing that Hawk, I'm currently about a year and a half better updates on one of my stories and it's likely to turn into two years. Though it's not like there anyone patiently waiting for it, guess I should crack into a yaoi or two, course that type of popularity would make me gag so bad idea.

edit: I never really saw the glamour of an ignore feature really, though I am one that likes to know everything for the most part, me and my big head and all, hahahaha.
