Just a kinda mad thought on HL2

The teleporters in the game work in two ways it seems.

One, the Combine way, drills through universes to get to its' desired location. It means it can travel between dimensions, but not within a dimension. Also they are massively complicated, exhorbitantly power-hungry, and pretty much useless.

Two, the Earth ones, bounce off the Dimensional Border World of Xen to travel to a location within the dimension. They're also smaller, less power-hungry, and actually practical, if dangerous.

Thirdly, we have The G-Man, who plucked Gordon Freeman from Black Mesa, New Mexico, USA in 200-, and deposited him in City 17, Eastern Europe, over 20 years later; and who also detained Cpl. Adrian Shephard and a V-22 Osprey in "Null Space".

With these in mind, I can't see why a fic featuring Gordon bouncing through various Anime series can't be written.

For instance, imagine Sailor Pluto's suprise as her Dead Scream is caught by a 27-year old Theoretical Physicist with a Zero Point Energy Manipulation Field, aka, the Gravity Gun, and then fired back at her.

Fun as that might be, the trick would be writing Fremen, I mean he's a silent protagonist, so suddenly making him very chatty for a fic wouldn't feel right. Still this might be a worthy idea with some more thought behind it.

A good point.

One way around that might well be having a second character to do the talking, like Alyx, or Barney, while Gordon remains the strong, silent protaganist we all know and love.

Thinking now, if Gordon did appear in the Sailor Moon continum(sp?), I don't think it'd take too long before Minako, Makoto, and quite likely Ami as well started chasing after him. After all, let's face it, Gordon is a handsome man, and also has a mighty brain between his ears.

Ami, at the very least, would view him as her Sempai, and might have a school girl crush on him. Makoto might as well, as I think she likes older men, though I'm not sure. I don't know enough about Minako to give a fair assessment of her character.

Another thought, if Alyx was the one speaking for Gordon, how would she react to a bunch of school girls trying to get snuggly with her friend. Hmmm, I wonder how Luna and artemis would react to Dog.

Some other animes that might be a good fit for this concept:

Full Metal Panic: I can see Mithril doing teleport expierments that accidently free Adrian Shephard from null space and bring him to their world.

Negima: We all know how much Asuna Loves older men, so her reaction to Gordon could prove interesting.

It's SPS. Everyone can understand him perfectly despite the fact that he doesn't say anything. An accessory, at least a first, would handle the exposition, and after that Gordon can handle it.

Question: do we leave him the full arsenal, or just the Super!Gravity Gun? It's all he'd need, really. Though him powdering Beryl with bugbait would be vastly amusing. What's that? How'd the antlions get there? A Wizard Did It."

And yes, Makoto would fall instantly into her usual affliction. For some reason, I see Gordon being kind of scared and sweating uncomfortably at the attention of a bunch of teenaged girls. Which is even funnier.
