Don't be in a rush to get through the game, don't be afraid to refer to the BvS Wiki, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Don't take things from the Storehouse just because you can. That's called being a deadbeat, and tends to piss people off.

Yeah. And, um, you should join Jeuno since we're a non-NRF village so you can try spying and stuff and actually have a chance to succeed. :sisi:

Welcome to BvS!

The key to success is not to miss a day. It only takes <15 minutes to play through a day's worth of stamina ... for the first couple months, anyway.

Don't Hard bingo unless they really annoy you, as hard bingos can be used as excuses to do nasty things to your village.

Do a village action (collect, patrol, etc.) every day even if you're not going to play through your stamina as all kages love active villagers.

Be patient. You might fail one mission forever, never get an ally you need even though you've done the mission thirty times, or it just seems like you hit a wall in progression. Patience and persistence will see you through.

Certain permanent items and themes are harder to get than others, and can involve more hair-pulling and randomness than other perms that could be considered of equal value. If you get them on the first try, people will be jealous, envious, angry, or all of the above. They just weren't as lucky as you, you lucky bastard.

Don't complain to the game creator unless you think something could be improved or you think it is a bug. If you think it's a bug, first run it by the bug forum in the game's attached forum. Bug reporting random stuff without thinking can have repercussions.

And if you haven't already join a TFF alliance village. Thay are the best! :p

Also looking at the game forum can be a good idea (when playing there's a link on the top right of your options, where things like main, village and jutsu are listed).

It might be a while before you can get most of this, but I'd advise that you start building up large supplies of Food Pills (randomly dropped when Lil'Bo or Big'Bo are in your party), Holy Arrows (randomly dropped when Fletch is in your group), Silver Petals (randomly dropped when Strawberry or Shorty are in your party) and Glowing Goo (created in the Crafting Workshop).

They'll be REALLY helpful.

Do all your daily fights in the Arena. The range-granting items help immensely.

You know, that's not the first time I hear that, but I still have found no use for food pills and holy arrows...

Food Pills for Haus' Diagnosis jutsu, and Holy Arrows are really great when you're a RedEye (Fire and Flames Jutsu, even Fletch's +4 STR Jutsu)

Very true.

If you're unlocking Monochrome, you've got a choice between a number of Fletch's jutsus and a few others; I tend to go with Fletch's jutsus, hence the Holy Arrows. Fletch's jutsus are also great help in passing the Monochrome missions the first few times around.

Food Pills are also needed for Milkshakes, if you're not lucky enough to get them in the random searches, and those are needed Emergency Rations, which pass a quest later on.

Diagnosis is a MUST for Wasteland, especially when hunting for Runes.

I'd've suggested Emo Rock CDs, Pics of Emosuke and Terri, and a few other things, but those can't loop, so stockpiling them isn't exactly overly smart, unless you want quick bursts of cash.

God I would be happy if it only took 15 mins to play Sandric.

Rule #42: Feed your local Kaiju
Rule #12: Don't piss off big 'uns
Rule #67: Don't listen to Sandric, he's a noob.

Fire and Flames never loses it's usefulness.

Food Pills are also needed to make Malted Pills->Milkshake->Emergency Rations

Since ER's suxors now and only useful for mono, just take the Malted Pills and Milkshakes you get from M1 activations instead.
