I've had an idea about a star wars fic for a while.

Anakin Solo ends up getting sent back in time by accident when he supposedly died to the Old Republic.

He ends up being picked up by the Jedi, namely he becomes Revan.

Now, this ditches the True Sith plotline except as a cover for his real plans, and Anakin is given a hint about the future. This is of the Vong invasion of his original time and discovers that it is his destiny to be one of those to face it.

The darkside ending is basically the result with some changes (He explains his reasons to the rest of the party and ends up with help), and later the Exile (Someone he'd personally trained to become a Jedi Knight while Malak and him were equals until they dueled as Exar and Ulic had before to determine the first master and the apprentice) follows with the army built by the Sith Triumvirate as well as whatever Mandalorians Canderous can get under his banner.

Cue the mayhem as Anakin shows up as a Sith Lord during the Vong Invasion complete with a massive and unending fleet riding to the rescue.

Imagine Luke's reaction to a Sith force showing up led by his "deceased" nephew who has taken up the reigns as the Dark Lord of the Sith. Leia would be another one with an interesting reaction, as would the twins (Note the reaction to Jaina's little brush with the darkside, not to mention Jacen as Darth Cadeus...).

The Jedi would be panicking because of Anakin with his army behind him (Hell he could have started the Jedi Civil War in order to bring their knowledge to the future).

how would anakin show up if Kotor was way before(can't remember the actual years) the real vong invasion?

Blame the will of the force, or the entities from Devil Worlds if you need something else to intervene.

Hell, he could have stumbled into some fucked up version of Flow Walking similar to what Jacen later learned.

had a thought recently. anakin as revan would be cool but anakin as the exile would make more sense.

his lack of the force could be explained by unconsciously flow walking back 4000 years and not the 'void in the force' crap used in the game. I'd put Anakin waking up around the same time as the exile coming out of the kolto tank on Peragus. he has the memories of the exile (the mandalorian wars-his exile) but it's essentially Anakin who is the one running around fixing the galaxy.

you still have the anakin-canderus interaction (maybe Have anakin describe or mention living ships and canderous retells his tail about the crispin system) and you could use a DS Revan the way you had planned, it just wouldn't be Anakin.

Well? how is that for an idea change?

sorry for the necro but I just had an idea for this.

The Yuuzhan Vong are refugees from a distant galaxy. Their homeworld was a sentient planet, and all of their technology was organic. They were a peaceful species living as symbiotes with their homeworld until they were subjugated by a technologically advanced species. Eventually the Yuuzhan Vong struck back fiercely, conquering the invaders and in the process becoming more warlike.

so Anakin hearing the tale of the frozen ship figures its the vong and after recollecting the starforge takes the war to them in hopes to destroy them before they get the chance to attack. not realizing he is the cause for the invasion in the first place. this is why he did not return, guillt and shame.

fast forward to the present and a strange figure meats with a young jedi on the cusp of making the same mistake he once did. Jaina is in for a rude awakening.
