That's the most recent update, I believe. I'm more unhappy about the loss of Fanfic.net (not FanficTION.net), since its most recent back-up is from 2001.

Hmm... I'm kinda upset that there's hardly anything from 2008 or 2009 on the Wayback machine myself.

I was just kinda hoping that someone knew if Ladycosmos was still alive or not (that is, the admin of Ladycosmos)

No idea. Given that Anifics is down (permanently, it seems), it'd be impossible to update the site, but I think the admin stopped updating even before Anifics tanked.

No idea. Given that Anifics is down (permanently, it seems), it'd be impossible to update the site, but I think the admin stopped updating even before Anifics tanked.

It should be noted anifics died twice in regards to all the sites.

The first time was in late April 2008, when the owner of anifics hosting domains died in March 2008.

Sol... the Admin of the anifics forum (separate from the hosted sites)... backed up what he could and hosted everything off a site link there. That and the anifics forum died in april when the ISP up and went under with no notice (at least per email from SOL to me on 4-5-2009).

Thus... thew older sites are in the wayback, but only go as far as in and around Feb-March 2008. And the secondary off the anfics forum is normally not in the backups at all, and if it is, it would be at a different address.

What was not known until later, was as NDF stated, fanfic.net went with the second closing... trying to get to it yields zip.
