Lenneth's Lamentations

Seriously, you can toss quite literally any character into Valkyrie Profile, just kill them and have A Wizard send them to that version of Midgard. Einjeriar (how do you spell that again?) have to be great warriors, but that's an easy thing to mistake, and let's consider some people that Lenneth would kick herself for taking under her wing, shall we?

First off... Happosai! Great warrior he is, Hero he is not.

Ranma, Mr. Crossover himself... Great fighter, but I think he'd piss off one too many Aesir and they'd kick him out. Not that funny...

Kintaro Oe. Not sure how he'd get mistaken for a fighter, maybe accidentally ride over someone on his bike, but much hilarity could happen.

Vash... Oh gods, I don't even want to know...

Keitaro, perhaps he went while holding a sword fighting Motoko, you know she'll get lucky and kill him sooner or later...

I dunno why I felt the need to post this, but for some reason the thought of Lenneth beating her head against a wall and chanting "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" makes me giggle.

That and I'm finally getting to play it again, thanks to someone pointing out that PSX emulation has gotten pretty well-established.

Anyways, discuss! Crazy people to drive Lenneth bonkers!

Fester Addams during Fester's Quest or the Addams Family Values game (still is a state of shock that I brought that game and thought that it would be a good game).

Chip 'n Dale... we all know that one day they'll get killed by those robotic dogs.

Mario from Super Mario 2.

Robin Hood from Men in Tights.

Going back to sleep now.

Anyway... Ryudo. Nuff said.
Ryudo from the first half of Grandia 2 or the Ryudo who's been pussified? Granted, he's the only game character I can think of off the top of my head that successfully manages a threesome, but still...he was cooler as an asshole.

You liked this game? Why? The controls are badly placed, the graphics are less then pleasant to look it (Fester's Quest had better graphics, and its on the Nintendo), and Fester is owned by weeds.

And to be on topic, Kriby. Useful little bugger, but getting your arse saved by a pink blob that can't talk would be embarssesing(sp?) for a Valkyrie.

Zamza from Suikoden :D

He is a competent fighter, at least in the beginning (compared to, lessay, Millie and Tuta.... x.x), but, uhm, he is less likeable than Happosai, more arrogant than Ranma and the bloody worst annoyance imaginable.

Ryudo did say he couldn't stand God or women... :snigger:

Though I don't think it quite applies, since Lenneth doesn't resemble either of his perceptions of the two, despite being both. Though I can imagine him receiving an ass-kicking before he figures out that she won't take any crap from him.

Could quite easily replace Arngrim. Both are bastards and Freya would probably make the same comment about him that she did about Arngrim. I'll have to get through ending A before I pursue anything like this though, and that's going to take a bit of time. I could make stuff up as I go, but I'd rather be aware of the whole story before I try to start working anyone in.

Lenneth's one comment comes to mind though... "*sigh* This is not my task. I am no Goddess of Love." Ryudo, "I hear ya, sister." *shakes head* Lenneth *gives Ryudo the evil eye*

And I imagine much toe-stomping if they happen to meet Odin together. Bastard!Ryudo was never one to keep his mouth shut, no matter who he's talking to.

Or Freya.

Remember the Selene scene?

"Well, well, look at what the slavish devotion to sanctimonious bloodshed dragged in. What brings you here, or did I just answer myself?"

I swear, I thought Selene was going to pop an artery right then and there...

Yes, that was one of his greatest lines. All things considered, I'm no longer certain he'd end up surviving very long.
