I know that no one here would download 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons before it was released (right? :snigger: )

But, on the off chance we have a deviant in our ranks, would said deviant be willing to share with me?

Unless it's completely different than all the discussion has made it out to be, 4th Ed is going to be so pure suck that I won't have anything to do with it.

I don't wanna play World of D&D, dammit.

World of D&D? What is being said about the 4th edition that you call it World of D&D?

My understanding is that you can find torrents of the books fairly easily now. Just check some of the larger torrent sites and you should find them easily.

From what I've read from threads about it, they've turned 4th Ed D&D into an MMO. And I mean that literally. The whole tanks keeping aggro, monsters automatically countering when they get hit in melee if they're facing you, etc. Pure MMO mechanics and not the wargame mechanics of D&D.

Hence, World of D&D.

Are there any online D&D sites.

Preferably for new players, I haven't played in several years.
