Harry Potter Looking for a fic...

Hey, I read an HP fic a while ago, then lost interest halfway through, and now that I want to pick it up again I can't find it, can someone help me out. It has Harry going to another school for magic, somewhere in Canada if I remember correctly, that is extremely exclusive and accepts people from any race (werewolf, vampire, elemental, ect.), some of the subjects he learns are Rituals (which is taught by a vampire and he excels at) and String Magic (which he is horrible at and drops out of), beyond that I can't remember much besides that they had to walk up to the school themselves through some dangerous mountains and he's friends with a couple of vampires. If anyone knows this story I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Sinde this is a topic; Israfel, in Hawk's HP rant area you recomended a fic titled "The Hammer Falls." I Ende up liking it when I read it at the begining of the year.

Ibring this up because it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone happen to know where it is? :huh.:

Edit: Never mind. After searching I found out that FF.net dropped the author but I found the piece at the HPRecycleBin Yahoo Group.
