Looking for stargate robotech crossovers

Recntly I tried to look for varous Stargate sg1 crossovers. I found a few sg1bsg crossovers that were pretty decent as well as one really good BSG/SG!/STNG but what i haven't found was a stargate robotech crossover or even a Stargate Starwars crossover that was to my liking.

So anyway what i'm looking for is

preferably a sg1/robotech cross

or a sg1 / other space series that is worth reading.
please no BSG stargate crossess unless they are not on FFN as i have most likely read those.

anyway if any of you can help me i'd be gratefull

I'll hijack this thread to post my own fic search.

I remember reading a Stargate: SG-1 fic a while back and I've been trying to find it again. Without luck.

O'Neill is taken off the front line action because of his bad knees and instead of taking a desk job he chooses to retire off-world. He stumbles upon a world that's slightly technologically more advanced than Earth, but that has a pretty similar culture.

I think he meets up with a young child and befriends it, later meeting his/her mother. She's working for that planet's own Stargate programme, and they get to know each other. Can't really remember if it develops into a romance or not. The government of that planet offers O'Neill to heal him, so that he is fit for active front line duty again, and offers him a spot as a leader of one of their own SG teams.

So, anybody know the fic I'm looking for?
