Akamatsuverse Love Hina/OMG Crossover Fic Idea

I already had a thread like this at Shinjis that got pretty good responses, but what the heck, I'll have one here too! B)

The basic premise of this story idea if, what if Keitaro met the goddesses? How? Well...

Keitaro, after being 'caught' in the bath because the sign was convienantly missing, Naru sends him flying due to one of her punches. Meanwhile, Keiichi and Belldandy were in...whatever the town Hinata Sou was in, visiting a relative, while poor Keitaro, naked except for a towel, crashes into them. Being that they can't just leave a naked, unconcious man there, K1 and Bell take them back to Nakomi. It should be funny, especially when Keitaro tries to explain that he must return to the all girl's dormatory with K1, Bell, Skuld, and Urd not quite believing him. :lol:

Of course, eventually the Hinata gang will go looking for Keitaro when he doesn't come back right away. Of course Naru and Motoko would get a little surprise when they discover that the ones taking care of Keitaro...are not exactly 'normal'.

At the moment, I don't have a really substantial story at the moment. I mean, beyond how they meet, and of course the Hinata Sou gang looking for him, I don't have much else planned at this very moment. I am thinking of adding some random demon attacks (added benifit when you have Motoko, with her Shinmei Ryu meant to attack demons, coming along) and I don't even have any pairings set either. Heck, I might even make it a 'crossover' pairing with Keitaro since it is currently up in the air at the moment. The only pairing that isn't is of course K1/Bell, unless you want me to break up that happy couple.

I'm also wondering what I should base the series on for both series (whether manga, TV series, or a little of both). For Love Hina, answer is somewhat obvious for me IMO, the manga. But I might still add TV series references for added humor. Same is true for OMG, but I might add TV series references as well. I'm still debating this since, well, at the moment, it's easier for me to reference the manga than the TV series of either.

The reason why I'm bringing this up now is, this could be my next 'new' story after my Kei/Tsu fic. I mean, I have a K1/Rind fic planned but, given that I've been a lazy ass and haven't progressed any further in the manga, that one won't see the light of day for a while. Not to mention the fact that I still have ULSI and Fullmetal Evangelion in need of updating before it (and since the Silent Hill movie is coming out April 21st, an update to Silent Titan is also planned to honor that, special day in the Silent Hill history. :p). Still, AFTER all that, this one would probably be the new fic from me.

So, thoughts, comments, suggestions? I'm all ears! ^_^

I really don't recommend having demon attacks. AMG demons are a far, far cry from the oni who usually the Shinmeiryuu practitioners deal with. Mara alone could reduce Motoko to dust, and she isn't even remotely the strongest - Welspar was much more powerful.

True. I only recommanded it since I was trying to thing what else I can add to the story that would make more...varied. I mean, there isn't a whole lot I could do with the idea of Keitaro meeting the goddesses plus the Hinata Sou gang in tow, and that's it.

That being said, I wasn't trying to imply that Motoko would be the one doing most of the attacks. If anything, that would fall into the hands of Urd, Bell, and Skuld (plus Peorth and Rind) if Mara, Hild, or the others do show up. Motoko would probably be on the side lines going "They are not human!!!!!!!"

The only way Motoko could do anything is if she gets her hands on an Asgardian weapon, really. Shisui isn't going to cut it against Mara and her cronies.

But with an adequately powerful weapon, her Shinmeiryuu techniques could be very useful, indeed.

I also have a suggestion: get Shinobu an angel. :p

Not to be picky, but Skuld's hammer is unnamed. Mjolnir is still Tor's property. :lol:

(and no, it isn't a typo. It should be 'Tor', not 'Thor'.)

Nah I swore that Skuld's hammer has a name of something to that extent, if you'll look it has the name along the side of it, I think it's like 'Mjolnir MK.II' or something like that.

I took a look at the original Japanese scans, and the writing on Skuld's hammer seems to actually be nordic Runes. One of them seems to be the Rune for 'Wyrd', which is the Norse concept of fate. Makes sense since Skuld is one of the Norns, the Fate goddesses.

Sounds like it. Though at least they tried to keep up with the Norse mythology thing.

Still, I just call it a um, well, Pogo stick stick that's what it reminds me of. :rolleyes:
