Just to let everyone know, tried to go to mediaminer and it looks like the site might have gone under, domain name expired 13/8/12

Well it didn't work an hour ago for me, but now it does so I'll just assume that the person who's supposed to pay for the site realized that he or she forgot to pay for it and did so.

Damn, that sucks, but... if anything good could possibly come out of this--it means all my shitty, shitty fanfic that's on there is finally /gone/.

The site is apparently gone again.
This time it looks like a server crash.

P.S. I'm not sure if I was supposed to necro a thread or start a new one with the same subject, but this thread came up when I was trying to use Google to find more information on what was going on.

mediaminer been on a downward spiral for quite a while, just surprised it lasted this long with the lack of maintenance and updates the site has received.

Mediaminer worked just fine for me. Granted, the last update notice was in 2011...so as soon as the ad agreements go away, so might the sight.

They may not have been issuing announcements, but I have seen indications stuff had been worked on after 2011...

I'll have to note that it is back up in the other thread.

EDIT:

Even better, member profile pages seem to work again.

However, FanFiction.NET Downloader still will not download the pages.

At least some of the RSS feeds work again as well...
