Got this idea a couple of months ago, but haven't gotten more then a few random disjointed scenes as of yet, but I thought I'd throw it out there and get some input on it.
The premise of this little thingie is that during a conversation with Touji and Kensuke, the discussion turns to Rei and Kensuke admits to having had a crush on her when she first arrived at school. After some badgering, he admits that he never asked her out or anything because he was too chicken and that he rapidly got over his crush once he saw how cold and distant she was all the time.
Though he still thinks she's hotter then hell, her personality ( or lack thereof... ) puts him off these days.
Asuka overhears this and makes a comment about how he needn't even have asked her, as the dollish first child would have let him to whatever he wanted to her without even batting an eye.
And that she'd kill him six ways from sunday if he ever even considered trying that with her!
This makes Shinji wonder about Asuka's statement and eventually he cracks, deciding to test out her theory.
At first, it's just brief touches. Patting her bum while riding the train to NERV, holding hands and whatnot. But as his actions and advances are never rebuked, things slowly escalates as Shinji tries more and more outrageous things, trying to get a rise out of Rei.
And failing to do so.
I was wondering weather or not to keep it as disjointed scenes like the example below, or if I should attempt to make something more coherent and ficlike of it.
So, thoughts?

Shinji hadn't felt this nervous since the last time he decided to ignore the normal moral boundaries around Rei. He was sweating and felt as if his entire stomach was trying to make it's way up his throat. He swallowed repeatedly and didn't doubt fro a second that his face was a whole lot more pale then it usually was.
He took a deep breath, swallowed one last time and then took a couple of steps forward, leaning against the doorway into the girls shower room. Partly because it would make him look more cool, but mostly because he wasn't certain that he'd manage to remain upright without some sort of support.
"Lookin' good there, Rei." he managed to get out, after swallowing another couple of times, trying to rid himself of what felt like a huge boulder lodged in his throat.
"Ikari." Rei responded calmly and kept on showering uncaringly for another couple of seconds, before she slowly turned her head around to observe him leaning against the doorway. She blinked once, then turned her head back around, ignoring him as she cleaned herself.
"You've got a really nice ass, Rei." Shinji added.
"Thank you, Ikari." Rei responded after a few moments of hesitation, unsure of how to respond to his unexpected compliment.
"Would you mind if I touched it?" he asked.
"You already have. Three times." Rei informed him.
"But never naked." he argued.
"Would you refrain from doing it if I did mind?" Rei asked in what might just possibly be a curious manner.
"Yes. ... Probably. ... Maybe." Shinji replied. "Yes. Yes, I would." he eventually finished.
"Very well." Rei stated and kept on cleansing herself.
"So. Do you mind?" he asked.
"You would get wet." was all she said.
"I could wait until you are done..." he countered.
"Very well."
