Yay... *waves flag of a pillowed chair in the air* Mmm... Wait, why am I here again...?

I'll send the pictures (if I can find them) along with the Ayanami Edition pics later.
Later is now. Done. Also dug up an amusing picture which I've dubbed "Synchronized" While obvious, Asuka's text translates to something like "What am I doing?" FYI.

Gahahahaha. Hell of a synch.

...the Evangelions could really have used an ultrahigh frequency particle blade in their fights with the ngels, by the way.

(In case you don't know, an UFPB is a weapon from Parasiite Eve 2, which is made in such a way that its atomic structure is stable but constantly shifting frequency, making any kind of barrier useless against it. Would've been great for dealing with AT fields, since it shredded Eve's forcefield apart, and Eve's forcefield could withstand a nuke at ground zero...)

True, but then again, they could have also used things like a gundam or something similar. Besides, how big is an UFPB? IIRC, Eve was humanoid sized, so unless the blade is gonna do a slow hack away... could be difficult.

Oh, and on a picture related note (I'll try to stay on topic from now on... I swear! *cross' fingers*) I thought you might be interested in this here. It's a translated version one of my previous avatars (the drunk Rei) that I found lying in my NGE folder.

The original UFPB was about as big as Aya's torso, but I don't think it'd be hard to create an Evangelion-sized replica. Expensive, yes, but since when has NERV been short on money?

EDIT: Okay, Asuka was definitely plastered.

They've never really been short on it, but they've always been rather stingy about how they spend their money. Plus, I don't think the old men would want it to be that easy.

And yes, you can definitely say that again.

Ahahaha, I just saw the 'Synchronoziation' pic, thats hilarious, i has to look at it for a minute to figure out just what exactly she was doing but when it hit me I nearly bust a gut. The translated one of that other pic is pretty good as well.

And considering some of the things I've seen them get in some other fics I definitely think you could give them UFPBs since I saw them get Eva-sized horses in another fic.

The funny thing is that Ultrahigh Frequency Particle Blades are actually gunblades. Like the one Squall uses. Except Aya's is much deadlier. HELLO, INSTANT DEATH TO EVERYTHING ON A TIMED HIT! I mean, 7,000 damage to the last boss... who has 5,000 HP... <_<

That's an atrocity!! What self-respecting game has a final boss with anything less than a million HP, any game in which any one attack can do 1/10th or more damage to a boss's overall HP is just plain sad, I expect my final boss to last for a minimum of half an hour, especially when they've got good final boss music to go with it. That's why I loved facing Sephiroth in KH who, while not being the final boss, was still the toughest boss in the entire game and it took me over 45 minutes to beat but I still took the one-winged bastard to the mat, him and his 20" long sword, pillars of fire, and super cheap one-hit KO moves. Hmmph, take that.

Normally, you can barely do 70 damage per hit to Eve, if even that. There's a REASON why the UFPB is a super secret optional bonus weapon only usable on replay. It's that damn overpowered.

Oh, and if you want a retardedly tough boss try Freya in SO3 or even Unlimited Indalecio in SO2. Both are pure Hell.

Ok well that eases my mind at least a little bit, and yah I know Freya from SO3 had so much Hp it wasn't even funny, especially since one of the trophies requires you to fight her at an obscenely low level.

Wait wait wait..you mean it's possible to beat Unlimited Indalecio in SO2? What do you need to do? Get to the bottom of the Cave of Trials, get everyone to lvl 255, best weapon and everyone with Bunny Shoes or something? I tried Unlimited Inda once and spent the rest of the day crying after he completely raped my characters :ph43r:

There's only one way to kill Unlimited Indalecio: you need to stunlock him between two characters. If he gets off even ONE spell, especially Exploder or EarthQuake, you're so dead I don't even know why you bothered being born at all.

Heh, reminds me of the final boss from an old game called "Legends Of Legaia" (PS1) that I could never beat, it's literally this giant bipedal dragon that has dragon mounth on his hands, feet, and tail besides the one on his face. He has a nasty breath attack where he shoots fire out of all 6 of them, ouch.

Ah, yes. Cort. Though I found Songi and Gaza much nastier.

It's been years since I've played the game so I don't exactly remember the names of the bosses (so I'm not sure which bosses your referring to) but also the boss in the alternate realm that was basically just this figure made of color that could shift between three different (conveniantly color coded) forms was also really hard for me, though that could have also been because I was severly underleveled at the time.
