Minerva McGonagall knocked on the door of the Granger residence, the first address of several today she would be visiting to inform parents of the wonderful opportunities awaiting their child at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The door was soon answered by a women who looked to be in her mid-thirties. “Hello I'm …†Started McGonagall before being interrupted by her host.
“Professor Minerva McGonagall, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, yes I know who you are, we where informed you might being showing up today so we gathered everyone together. I'm Emma Granger, please come in.â€
Bewildered at this McGonagall simply followed her host inside and to a rather large room, the first thing in the room to catch her eye was the couch, there must have been about ten children sitting on and around it, one boy and the rest where girls.
All the girls where wearing the strange chokers that several other Muggle Borns attending Hogwarts over the past few years had worn, and about half of them where on the list to attend Hogwarts this year. But what really interested her was the boy, sitting in the middle of the couch with the girl she had come to convinced to come to Hogwarts sitting in his lap was Harry Potter.
She had no idea what was going to, but whatever it was bad.
