Sorry for necro, but I've only recently gotten into NCIS. Watched the first six seasons and plannign on getting the next two on DVD tomorrow.
Most of the fanfics I've read is decent, but it just doesn't catch my interest like some of the other stuff in other series I've read... Any more recommendations since the last post, or ideas on possible fics to write?

Being homebound for four months due to injury last year, I spent most of my time watch NCIS and House reruns. Eventually, I got the idea to look up on FFnet to see if anyone ever did any crossovers between thw two.
I sort of wish I hadn't went looking. I think there were ten of them, and pretty much all crap. Most only got into a vague idea of a story -- one had an OC NCIS agent suffer a heart attack or something, and it turned out Sheperd and Cuddy were old college friends. Another one tried its hand at someone infecting Abby with a disease and then ptting Gibbs on the clock. One I clearly remember as being a Dinozzo/House fic, with the author flatly stating that Dinozzo and House have been in a relationship for years (which is fanspeak for "canon? what's that? is it tasty?").
The rest were just not very interesting to even remeber.

Well, for Tony it's easy. Tony is almost the perfect character. Meaning, that he has something for each part of the audience. Good looking and charming, confident but with feelings, a frat boy but the best agent ever, sassy but ?ccasional butt-monkey, born leader but always Gibbs' second-hand. Out of his own will. Seriouslly, you just can't NOT love him.
Gibbs is the cool responsible but incredibly thoughtful boss with a mysterious past always looking in each redhead the one he lost forever.
Ziva is the lethal mossad agent who still has to get used to a normal life and trusting into her colleagues. Also, gotta love her verbal shenanigans.
They're the ones with the most screentime and that's probably the only reason why Abby isn't up there with them, while the other members of the team are funny and rounded, but the ToGiZi triangle is just that epic.

...For some reason, after seeing the Supernatural tag in relation to NCIS, I'm trying to picture Abby as a Magical Girl...
What do you guys think about Engaged? It's a two parter, so there is probably a higher chance of character development. Judging from the opening ,it could be Gibbs, but given the nature of the case and how the teams is dealing with it, I suppose anyone is fair game.
I really hope we get to see Tony's attempt at a catchphrase.
