Okay Haruna Saotome comes across to me as a little used almost ignored character (please correct me if I am mistaken) so can anyone do a Negi x Haruna?

Read recent chapters, she gets in it quite a bit more. She is funny as hell.

Oh, that is true. I haven't seen any fics with her, but I really haven't explored Negima fanfiction all that much.

The vast majority of Negima fics are either Negi/Asuna, Negi/Nodoka, Negi/Eva or Konoka/Setsuna, so I guess you could say that EVERY OTHER GIRL is underused, pretty much.

Heck, I haven't seen a single Negi/Kazumi or Negi/Chisame fanfic either. And Chisame is actually one of the mos underused girls even in the manga, let alone in fiction - she almost vanished besides comic relief after the whole Chi-u fiasco.

Chisame is getting time now though. The girl I think that really got abandoned in the manga is Makie. Early in the series she was actually voted the most popular girl too, but the author hasn't really used her except for her one chapter where she was trying to get into the gymnastics competition (before the festival arc.) Now that Yue has become one of the main females, Makie is the only baka ranger not part of the group (Kaede has at least been getting combat time in.)

Ku Fei's been largely ignored, too. Even her combat skills have been going to waste lately. Granted, it's mostly because she's not "in" on the whole magic thing, but still...

Well, with so many characters, I guess its hard to give each one equal screen time... :(

Although it was hinted early on that she would be one of the girls Negi will make a pact with, so maybe her role will be expanded on in future chapters(I hope)... ^_^

That is true, off the top of my head the last scene from her perspective was her fight in the tournament. We need more Ku Fei!!!
